Rome: After researching the family tree of the famous Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci, two Italian scientists identified 14 people from the legendary artist’s family. In an article published in the Journal of Human Evolution, the two scientists wrote that their work was “a collection of decades of research aimed at rebuilding the entire and modern lineage of the Da Vinci family.
Da Vinci family experts Alessandro Vezzosi and Agnese Sabato said they had documented 21 generations of the late artist’s family. The researchers also interviewed people from the descendants of the well-known Italian painter and architect during their studies, They found that some of them worked in clerical or craft jobs, and had now retired.

روما: بعد أن قاما بإجراء أبحاث عن شجرة عائلة الفنان الإيطالي الشهير، ليوناردو دافنشي، حدّد عالمان إيطاليان 14 شخصًا ينحدرون من عائلة الفنان الأسطوري. وكتب العالمان في مقال نُشر بمجلة «هيومان إيفولوشن»، أن عملهما كان «مجموعة من الأبحاث التي استمرّت لعقود، بهدف إعادة بناء سلسلة الأنساب الكاملة والحديثة لعائلة دافنشي».
وقال خبيرا عائلة دافنشي، أليساندرو فيزوسي وأجنيس ساباتو، إنهما وثقا 21 جيلًا من عائلة الفنان الراحل. كما أجرى الباحثان مُقابلات مع أشخاص من نسل الرسام والمهندس المعماري الإيطالي المعروف، أثناء إعداد دراستهما، وتوصلا إلى أن بعضهم عمل في وظائف مكتبيّة أو حرفيّة، ثم تقاعدوا في الوقت الحالي.
