Doha: Some truck drivers violate article (43) of a decree by Law No. (19) of 2007 in the Traffic Act, which stipulates: requiring drivers of passenger cars (buses) of various types, transport vehicles (trucks), machinery and equipment, tractors, and any mechanical vehicle towing a trailer or semi-trailer, to drive on the right side of the road not to skip other vehicles.
When they drive on roads with only two tracks, they do not comply with this law and bypass from the left, causing traffic confusion and accidents due to the surprise of drivers coming from the back with this act done by the truck driver without regard to the rest of the drivers. Al-Raya lens spotted one truck driver passing another truck driver at the entrance to the Salwa Road Bridge from Al Majd Road, where the driver did so because of his excessive speed, which prompted him to overtake the driver who was driving at speed limit.

الدوحة: يقوم بعض سائقي الشاحنات بمُخالفة المادة (43) من مرسوم بقانون رقم (19) لسنة 2007 بإصدار قانون المرور والتي تنص على: إلزام سائقي سيارات نقل الركاب (الحافلات) بأنواعها المُختلفة، وسيارات النقل (الشاحنات)، والآليات والمعدات، والجرارات، وأي مركبة ميكانيكية تقطر مقطورة أو شبه مقطورة، بالسير على الجانب الأيمن من الطريق بعدم تخطي المركبات الأخرى.
ولا يلتزم هؤلاء عند سيرهم في الطرق التي تحتوي على مسارين فقط بهذا القانون، ويقومون بالتجاوز من اليسار، ما يؤدي إلى إرباك الحركة المرورية ووقوع الحوادث بسبب مُفاجأة السائقين القادمين من الجهة الخلفية بهذا الفعل الذي يقوم به سائق الشاحنة دون مُراعاة لباقي السائقين. عدسة الراية رصدت أحد سائقي الشاحنات وهو يتجاوز سائق شاحنة آخر على مدخل جسر طريق سلوى من طريق المجد، حيث قام السائق بهذا الفعل بسبب سرعته الزائدة على الحد ما دفعه لتجاوز السائق الذي يسير بسرعة الطريق المُقرّرة.
