Doha: Citizens and residents complained that car maintenance workshops located in commercial streets and residential neighborhoods are violating parking spaces and sidewalks, in violation of the licenses granted to them, which prohibit workshop owners and employees from engaging in activity outside the licensed site or in public parking lots, sidewalks and nearby squares.
The lens of Al-Raya observed a number of irregularities in the workshop complexes located in Ein Khalid area south of Salwa Street on The East Industrial Street, where shopkeepers do maintenance work on sidewalks and take advantage of public parking lots to park neglected vehicles of the customers of the shop, where dozens of cars are scattered in these parking spaces in a way that annoys customers, especially as it makes it difficult to find a parking for shop customers.
Waste and neglected cars spread in complexes that include dozens of auto shops and lack the lowest levels of cleanliness, with workshop workers disposing of waste indiscriminately, neglected cars being used to store tools and maintenance supplies in a way that reflects their indifference to hygiene, and sidewalks on the main road, which include bicycle paths, are exploited for car maintenance and parking after completion, as well as the distortion of pavements with remnants of engine oil and the spread of waste.

الدوحة: اشتكى مواطنون ومُقيمون من تعدي ورش صيانة السيارات الكائنة بالشوارع التجارية ووسط الأحياء السكنية على المواقف والأرصفة، وذلك بالمُخالفة لتراخيص مزاولة النشاط الممنوحة لها، التي تحظر على أصحاب الورش والعاملين بها مزاولة النشاط خارج موقع الترخيص أو في المواقف العامة والأرصفة والساحات المُجاورة.
عدسة الراية رصدت جملة من التجاوزات في مجمعات الورش الواقعة بمنطقة عين خالد جنوب شارع سلوى على شارع الصناعية الشرقي، حيث يقوم أصحاب المحلات بعمل الصيانة فوق الأرصفة ويستغلون المواقف العامة في ركن المركبات المُهملة الخاصة بزبائن المحل، حيث تنتشر عشرات السيارات في تلك المواقف بصورة تُزعج الزبائن، لا سيما أنها تجعل من الصعوبة الحصول على موقف لمُرتادي المحلات التجارية.
وتشهد المجمعات التي تضم العشرات من محلات الصيانة انتشارًا للمُخلفات والسيارات المهملة وتفتقر لأدنى مستويات النظافة، حيث يقوم العاملون في الورش بالتخلص من المُخلفات بصورة عشوائية، كما يستغلون السيارات المهملة في تخزين الأدوات ومستلزمات الصيانة بشكل يعكس عدم مبالاتهم بالنظافة العامة، كذلك يتم استغلال الأرصفة الواقعة على الطريق الرئيسي، التي تضم مسارات مخصصة للدراجات الهوائية في أعمال صيانة للسيارات وركنها بعد الانتهاء منها، فضلًا عن تشويه الأرصفة ببقايا زيوت المُحركات وانتشار المُخلفات.
