Doha: Family Consulting Center “Wifaq” held an awareness-raising evening through “Zoom” platform entitled “She is a domestic worker, not a mother to your child?” Presented by the educational trainer Professor Salah Al-Yafei, and targeted parents and those interested in education, in order to spread awareness of the need to reduce dependence on servants, clarify the difference between the tasks of the maid and the responsibilities of parents, raise awareness of ways to detect early problems to which children are exposed to by servants and how to deal with them, as well as to know the negative effects of domestic workers on the development of children and their behavior and upbringing and dealing with others, in addition to raising awareness for the target group that education and following up children and providing their basic needs is the sole responsibility of parents.
During the evening, Al-Yafei reviewed a series of themes, during which he focused on the negative effects of reliance on maids in education, which is the primary responsibility of parents.
Al-Yafei stressed that the importance of the role of parents in the lives of children depends on raising them with love, care and attention, and not relying on domestic workers to manage the house in a holistic manner, especially with regard to the affairs of the children without direct monitoring and follow-up, and not taking responsibility for raising children and meeting their basic needs, so that the parents do not lose their real role or give up their responsibilities towards their children.

الدوحة: أقام مركزُ الاستشارات العائليّة «وفاق» أمسيةً توعويّةً عبر منصّة «زووم» بعنوان «هي عاملة منزلية.. وليست أُمًا لطفلك؟»، قدّمها المدربُ التربويُّ الأستاذ صلاح اليافعي، استهدفت الآباءَ والمُهتمين بالتربية، وذلك بهدف نشر التوعية بضرورة تقليل الاعتماد على الخدم، وتوضيح الفرق بين مهامّ العاملة ومسؤوليات الوالدَين، والتوعية بسبل الكشف المبكّر عن المشاكل التي يتعرّض لها الأطفالُ من قبل الخدم وكيفية التعامل معها، وكذلك معرفة الآثار السلبيّة لعاملات المنازل على نموّ الأطفال وسلوكهم ونشأتهم وتعاملهم مع الآخرين، إضافةً إلى رفع الوعي للفئة المُستهدفة بأنَّ التربية ومُتابعة الأبناء وتوفير احتياجاتهم الأساسيّة هي مسؤوليةُ الوالدَين فقط.
واستعرض اليافعي خلال الأمسية مجموعةً من المحاور ركّز خلالها على على الآثار السلبيّة المُترتبة على الاعتماد في التربية على العمالة المنزليّة، والتي تعدّ مسؤوليةً أساسيةً تقع على عاتق الآباء والأمّهات.
وأكّد اليافعي على أنَّ أهمية دور الوالدَين في حياة الأبناء يعتمدُ على تربيتهم بحبّ ورعاية واهتمام، والاعتناء بهم وعدم الاعتماد على عاملات المنزل في تدبير أمور المنزل بشكل كُلّي، وبالأخصّ فيما يتعلّق بشؤون الأبناء دون مراقبة ومتابعة مُباشرة، وعدم توليتهنّ مسؤولية تربية الأبناء وتلبية احتياجاتهم الأساسية، حتى لا يفقدَ الوالدان دورَهما الحقيقي أو يتخلّيا عن مسؤولياتهما تجاه أبنائهما.
