Will children under the age of 12 be allowed to enter amusement parks?

Doha: At yesterday’s regular meeting, the Council of Ministers announced a number of decisions on easing restrictions imposed due to the Corona pandemic, after reviewing the report of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management on the plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed by the pandemic, and in order to ensure the health and safety of all members of society.
Among the most prominent decisions was allowing the opening of amusement parks and all recreational centers in accordance with several requirements:
A- Capacity not exceeding (30%) for outdoor amusement parks and entertainment centers.
B- Capacity not exceeding (20%) for indoor amusement parks and entertainment centers, and only allowing customers who have completed covid-19 vaccine doses to enter.
These decisions will be in effect from Friday, May 28, 2021, until further notice.
As the Ministry of Public Health announced on May 12th that it intends to provide vaccination for the 12-15-year-old age group in Qatar with Pfizer-BioNTech Corona Covid-19 vaccine, according to the Cabinet’s decision to allow only customers who have completed covid-19 vaccine doses, children under the age of 12-15 will not be allowed access to amusement parks and indoor recreational centres, as vaccination for this group has not yet been announced.
الدوحة: أعلن مجلس الوزراء في الاجتماع العادي الذي عقده يوم الأمس، عن جملة من القرارت المتعلقة بتخفيف القيود المفروضة جراء جائحة كورونا، وذلك بعد الاطلاع على تقرير اللجنة العليا لإدارة الأزمات بشأن خطة الرفع التدريجي للقيود المفروضة جراء الجائحة ، وحرصاً على صحة وسلامة جميع أفراد المجتمع.
ومن ضمن أبرز القرارات، جاء السماح بفتح مدن الملاهي وجميع المراكز الترفيهية وفق عدة اشتراطات وهي:
أ- بطاقة استيعابية لا تجاوز /30%/ ، لمدن الملاهي والمراكز الترفيهية في الأماكن المفتوحة.
ب – بطاقة استيعابية لا تجاوز /20%/ ، لمدن الملاهي والمراكز الترفيهية في الأماكن المغلقة، مع السماح فقط بدخول العملاء ممن استكملوا جرعات لقاح /كوفيد-19/.
ويعمل بهذه القرارات اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة الموافق 28/ 5/ 2021، وذلك حتى إشعار آخر.
وبما أن وزارة الصحة العامة، أعلنت في 12 مايو الجاري، عن عزمها توفير التّطعيم للفئة العُمرية بين 12 – 15 عاماً في قطر بلقاح كورونا «كوفيد-19» الذي تنتجه شركة «فايزر-بيونتيك».. فإنه -ووفق قرار مجلس الوزراء القاضي بالسماح فقط بدخول العملاء ممن استكملوا جرعات لقاح /كوفيد-19/، لن يسمح للأطفال أقل من عمر (12 – 15) عاماً من دخول مدن الملاهي والمراكز الترفيهية في الأماكن المغلقة، حيث لم يتم الإعلان عن توفير التطعيم لهذه الفئة حتى الآن.
