Doha: Every year during the holy month of Ramadan, a large number of young people come with their classic and sports cars, and the old ones to the Doha Corniche to spend their free time throughout the holy month, and wander along the road on which a group of young people and fans take pictures of these cars and the views of high-rise towers.
The presence on the Doha Corniche every day during ramadan and an hour before iftar has become an annual habit maintained by Qatar’s youth for decades and up until now, as they find entertainment and pleasure in being on the side of the road and meet with each other amid compliance with the precautionary measures established by the state to reduce the spread of Coronavirus.
Traffic officers and patrols are present all the time on the corniche to regulate traffic and facilitate traffic in front of the road users and those present there.
The view of the passage of cars of various types, as well as amateur-driven motorcycles, continues until sunset when such individual gatherings end due to the procedures currently in place.
A number of fans and enthusiasts of old cars and motorcycles continuing to be present along the Corniche during the holy month of Ramadan, stressed that the goal of passing on this road, which is considered one of the most beautiful roads of the state, is to spend their time during the holy month and meet with each other according to the number allowed and the procedures followed, pointing out that in the past they drove in groups as each category of cars and motorcycles were going behind each other, but because of the procedures now put in place and adhered to they pass individually or according to the number allowed without forming any groups, in order to maintain this habit and practice the hobby that they have been continuing for decades to this time.

الدوحة: في كل عام خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، يقبل عدد كبير من الشباب بسياراتهم الكلاسيكية والرياضية، والاخرى القديمة على كورنيش الدوحة لقضاء أوقات فراغهم طيلة الشهر الفضيل، والتجول على طول الطريق الذي يقف على جانبيه مجموعة من الشباب والهواة الذين يلتقطون الصور لتلك السيارات ومناظر الأبراج شاهقة الارتفاع.
وأصبح التواجد على كورنيش الدوحة كل يوم خلال شهر رمضان وقبيل وقت الافطار بساعة عادة سنوية يحافظ عليها شباب قطر منذ عشرات السنين وحتى الآن، اذ انهم يجدون الأنس والمتعة في تواجدهم على جانب الطريق ويلتقون مع بعضهم البعض وسط التقيد بالإجراءات الاحترازية الموضوعة من قبل الدولة للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا.
ويتواجد رجال المرور والدوريات طيلة الوقت على الكورنيش لتنظيم حركة السير وتسهيل عملية المرور امام مستخدمي الطريق والمتواجدين عليه.
ويستمر منظر مرور السيارات بأنواعها المختلفة، بالإضافة إلى الدراجات النارية التي يقودها الهواة حتى قبل مغيب الشمس الذي تنتهي به مثل هذه التجمعات الفردية بحكم الاجراءات الموضوعة في الوقت الراهن.
وأكد عدد من محبي وهواة السيارات والمواتر القديمة والدراجات النارية المستمرين في التواجد على طول الكورنيش خلال شهر رمضان المبارك، ان الهدف من مرورهم على هذا الطريق الذي يعتبر من اجمل طرق الدولة، لقضاء اوقاتهم خلال الشهر الفضيل والالتقاء مع بعضهم البعض وفق العدد المسموح به والاجراءات المتبعة، لافتين إلى انهم كانوا في السابق يسيرون بمجموعات حيث ان كل فئة من السيارات والدراجات النارية تسير خلف بعضها، ولكن بسبب الاجراءات الموضوعة الآن وتقيدا بها يتم المرور بشكل فردي او وفق العدد المسموح به دون تشكيل اي مجموعات، وذلك للحفاظ على هذه العادة وممارسة الهواية التي ما زالوا مستمرين عليها منذ عشرات السنين وحتى وقتنا هذا.
