Doha: The Qatar Stars League committee has announced the date of the deciding match for the 2020-2021 football season, which will bring together the eleventh-placed team in the overall standings of the QNB Stars League, Al Khor Club, against second place in the second-division this season Al Shahaniya Club.
The match will be held on May 4, 2021, at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar SC.
According to the regulations, in the event that the original time of the match ends with a draw, an extra time of 30 minutes divided into two halves is used, and in the event of a tie continuing, the penalty shoot-out is used to decide the winner.
Al Shamal club led the second division by defeating Al Shahaniya in the last match of the league 3-0 and climbing to the Qatar Stars League.

الدوحة: أعلنت مؤسسة دوري نجوم قطر عن موعد المباراة الفاصلة للموسم الكروي 2020-2021، والتي ستجمع بين الفريق صاحب المركز الحادي عشر في الترتيب العام من دوري نجوم QNB /نادي الخور/، ضد وصيف بطل دوري الدرجة الثانية هذا الموسم /نادي الشحانية/.
و تقرر إقامة المباراة يوم 4 مايو 2021 على استاد سحيم بن حمد بنادي قطر.
علما بأنه ووفقا للوائح في حال انتهاء الوقت الأصلي من المباراة بالتعادل يتم اللجوء إلى الوقت الإضافي مدته 30 دقيقة مقسمة على شوطين، وفي حال استمرار التعادل يتم اللجوء إلى ضربات الجزاء الترجيحية من علامة الجزاء.
وكان نادي الشمال قد تصدر دوري الدرجة الثانية بفوزه على الشحانية في آخر مباراة بالدوري 3-0 وصعد إلى دوري نجوم قطر.
