“Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg” to Hold First Edition in June

Doha: Under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani the first “Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg,” will be held virtually, between June 21-23, 2021
The Supreme Organizing Committee announced that the first forum is produced by Bloomberg Live and editorially programmed by Bloomberg News under the theme “Reimagining the World”. It will convene participants from the worlds leading experts and decision makers in the fields of finance, economics, investment, technology, energy, education, sports and climate.
“Qatar Economic Forum, Powered by Bloomberg” aims to prepare plans for international economic growth in the post pandemic world and to benefit from the strategic location of the State of Qatar — being at the confluence of the East, West, and Africa to drive collaboration and connectivity as a means for advancing economic opportunity.
On this occasion, HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the first Qatar Economic Forum, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness for his generous patronage of the event.
“This forum reflects Qatars efforts to lead economic growth, achieve the comprehensive development goals, and instill its leading position as one of the most important investment destinations regionally and globally”, His Excellency said.

الدوحة: تحت الرعاية الكريمة لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، سينعقد /منتدى قطر الاقتصادي بالتعاون مع بلومبرغ/، خلال الفترة من 21 إلى 23 يونيو المقبل.
وأوضحت اللجنة المنظمة، أن المنتدى سيعقد تحت شعار /إعادة تصور العالم/، وذلك عبر تقنية الاتصال المرئي، بمشاركة نخبة عالمية من كبار أصحاب القرار وواضعي السياسات وقادة الرأي والخبراء والمفكرين المتخصصين في قطاعات المالية والاقتصاد والاستثمار والتكنولوجيا والطاقة والتعليم والرياضة والمناخ.
ويهدف /منتدى قطر الاقتصادي بالتعاون مع بلومبرغ/ إلى إعداد الخطط الداعمة لنمو الاقتصاد العالمي خلال مرحلة ما بعد جائحة كورونا /كوفيد – 19/، وإلى الاستفادة من الموقع الاستراتيجي لدولة قطر التي تعد واحدة من أهم نقاط الوصل بين مناطق الشرق والغرب وإفريقيا لبحث سبل تعزيز أواصر التعاون والتواصل الدولي لتطوير ودعم الفرص الاقتصادية.
