Moscow: Students at Russia’s Samara University have tested a reusable experimental missile, Progress Center for rocket and space industry announced. According to the Center, the Capella-ML test took place on the eve of the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s historic flight. “On April 6th, a new-generation Capella-ML test missile designed and manufactured by Samara University students (Kuruliov) was launched to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s journey, the first such missile to be launched in Russia,” the center said in a statement.
“The most important new innovation was the improvement of the quiet landing system, which ensured the reuse of the missile,” says Anton Bultoradnev, head of the Student Design Office.

موسكو: أعلن مركزُ «بروغريس» التابع لقطاع صناعة الصواريخ والفضاء، أنّ طلاب جامعة سامارا الروسيّة اختبروا صاروخًا تجريبيًا قابلًا لإعادة الاستخدام. ويشير المركز، إلى أنّ اختبار الصاروخ المكوكي التجريبي «Capella-ML» جرى عشية الذكرى الستين لرحلة يوري غاغارين التاريخيّة.
وجاء في بيان المركز، «جرت في يوم 6 أبريل عملية إطلاق صاروخ تجريبي من الجيل الجديد Capella-ML الذي صمّمه وصنعه طلاب جامعة سامارا (كوروليوف)، إحياءً للذكرى الستين لرحلة يوري غاغارين، وكان هذا أول صاروخ من هذا النوع يطلق في روسيا». ويقول أنطون بولتورادنيف، رئيس مكتب التصميم الطلابي: «أهم الابتكارات الجديدة، كان تحسين منظومة الهبوط الهادئ، التي تضمن إعادة استخدام الصاروخ».
