Fees and documents required for connecting houses and facilities to the sewage system

Doha: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) explained that the service of connecting houses and facilities to sewage networks is delivered to citizens free of charge for the first house.

According to its official Twitter account, the authority said that the required documents are:

A copy of the Qatari ID card – a copy of the title deed – land plan – approved map of the sewers approved by the Sanitation Department (for new buildings) – signing the request for services in the designated place – a copy of the land and property ownership document from the Ministry of Justice.

It added that all documents must be attached to the same application to avoid rejection by registering applications, and duplicate requests will be rejected.

The Authority noted that the application fees are: 

First House for Qataris: Free 

Non-Qatari: 6,000 QR

Second house / commercial establishment: 12 thousand QR 

Additional charges 

A monthly fee of 20% of Kahramaa utility bill after delivery to non-Qataris.

الدوحة: أوضحت هيئة الأشغال العامة (أشغال) أن خدمة توصيل المنازل والمنشآت على شبكات الصرف الصحي يتم توصيلها إلى المواطنين مجاناً لأول منزل .

وقالت الهيئة – وفق حسابها الرسمي على تويتر – إن المستندات المطلوبة هي :

صورة من البطاقة الشخصة القطرية – صورة من سند الملكية – مخطط الأرض – الخارطة المعتمدة لمجاري الصرف الصحي موافق عليها من قسم الصرف الصحي (للمباني الجديدة) – التوقيع على طلب الخدمات بالمكان المخصص – نسخة من وثيقة ملكية الأراضي والممتلكات من وزارة العدل.

وأضافت أنه يجب إرفاق جميع المستندات بالطلب الواحد لتجنب الرفض بتسجيل الطلبات، كما أن الطلبات المكررة سيتم رفضها.

وأشارت إلى أن رسوم التقديم هي: 

قطري أول منزل: مجانا 

غير قطري: 6 آلاف ريال 

منزل ثان / منشأة تجارية : 12 ألف ريال 

رسوم إضافية 

رسوم شهرية بقيمة 20% من فاتورة مرافق مياه كهرماء بعد التوصيل لغير القطريين.
