Doha: Under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani inaugurated the 13th edition of international exhibition for homeland security and civil defense (Milipol Qatar 2021) at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center on Monday.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was briefed on the exhibition pavilions as well as state-of-the-art devices and technologies in its sections related to enhancing safety and security, especially the security of stadiums and sport events. His Excellency also listened to an explanation about the latest equipment in the field of security and civil defense.
The opening, which is being held amid precautionary measures to limit the spread of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, senior officials and guests from a number of countries and representatives of exhibiting companies.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior witnessed the signing of an agreement between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the French Republic to establish a partnership in the areas of security for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. His Excellency also witnessed the signing of a protocol between the Security Committee of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy in the State of Qatar and the Public Security Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Italian Republic in the fields of public order and security management of major sport events.

الدوحة: تحت الرعاية الكريمة لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، افتتح معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية صباح اليوم، فعاليات النسخة الثالثة عشرة من المعرض الدولي للأمن الداخلي والدفاع المدني /ميليبول قطر 2021/ بمركز الدوحة للمعارض والمؤتمرات.
واطلع معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية على أجنحة المعرض وما تضمنته أقسامه من أجهزة وتقنيات حديثة تتعلق بتعزيز السلامة والأمن لاسيما أمن الملاعب والفعاليات الرياضية، كما استمع معاليه إلى شرح حول أحدث المعدات المتخصصة بمجال الأمن والدفاع المدني.
حضر الافتتاح، الذي أقيم وسط إجراءات احترازية للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد-19)، عدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين وضيوف البلاد من عدد من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة وممثلي الشركات العارضة.
كما شهد معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية التوقيع على اتفاق بين حكومة دولة قطر وحكومة الجمهورية الفرنسية لإقامة شراكة في مجالات أمن بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 ، كما شهد معاليه التوقيع على بروتوكول بين اللجنة الأمنية باللجنة العليا للمشاريع والإرث بدولة قطر وإدارة الأمن العام بوزارة الداخلية بالجمهورية الإيطالية في مجالات النظام العام وإدارة أمن الفعاليات الرياضية الكبرى.
