Doha: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani chaired Wednesday the cabinet’s regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan.
Following the meeting, HE the Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi said the following statement:
At the outset of the meeting, the Cabinet was briefed on the latest developments to contain the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and affirmed the continuation of implementing the precautionary measures in order to combat this pandemic.
After that, the Cabinet considered the topics on the agenda as follows:
First, Take the necessary measures to issue a draft law regarding endowment, after the Cabinet reviewed the recommendation of the Shura Council in this regard.
The draft law is being prepared to replace Law No. 8 of 1996 on endowment, and comes in the framework of updating legislation to keep pace with developments in this regard.
The draft law includes provisions relating to the establishment of the endowment, its distributions and conditions, the civil endowment, and the supervision of the endowment, its maintenance, architecture and investment.
Second, take the necessary measures to issue a draft law amending some provisions of the companies law No. 11 of 2015, after the Cabinet reviewed the recommendation of the Shura Council in this regard.
Third, the Approval of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry’s proposal to form a committee to prepare for the State of Qatar’s participation in the Osaka Expo (Japan – 2025).
Fourth, the Cabinet reviewed the results of the 107th session of Economic and Social Council of the Arab League, and took the appropriate decision in this regard.

الدوحة: ترأس معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية الاجتماع العادي الذي عقده المجلس ظهر اليوم بمقره في الديوان الأميري.
وعقب الاجتماع أدلى سعادة الدكتور عيسى بن سعد الجفالي النعيمي، وزير العدل والقائم بأعمال وزير الدولة لشؤون مجلس الوزراء بما يلي:
في بداية الاجتماع اطلع مجلس الوزراء على آخر المستجدات والتطورات حول الحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا /كوفيد – 19/، وأكد المجلس على استمرار العمل بما تم اتخاذه من إجراءات وتدابير احترازية في سبيل مكافحة هذا الوباء .
وبعد ذلك نظر مجلس الوزراء في الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال على النحو التالي:
أولا – اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لاستصدار مشروع قانون بشأن الوقف، وذلك بعد أن اطلع مجلس الوزراء على توصية مجلس الشورى بشأنه .
ويأتي إعداد مشروع القانون ليحل محل القانون رقم (8) لسنة 1996 بشأن الوقف، في إطار تحديث التشريعات لمواكبة المستجدات في هذا الصدد.
ويتضمن المشروع أحكاما تتعلق بإنشاء الوقف وأنواعه، ومصارفه وشروطه، والوقف الأهلي، والنظارة على الوقف وحمايته وعمارته واستثماره.
ثانيا – اتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لاستصدار مشروع قانون بتعديل بعض أحكام قانون الشركات الصادر بالقانون رقم (11) لسنة 2015، وذلك بعد أن اطلع مجلس الوزراء على توصية مجلس الشورى بشأنه.
ثالثا – الموافقة على اقتراح وزارة التجارة والصناعة بتشكيل لجنة للإعداد والتحضير لمشاركة دولة قطر في معرض إكسبو أوساكا (اليابان 2025 ) .
رابعا – استعرض مجلس الوزراء نتائج الدورة العادية (107) للمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي لجامعة الدول العربية،واتخذ بشأنها القرار المناسب.
