Prime Minister Visits Temporary COVID-19 Vaccination Center

Doha: HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani visited on Thursday the temporary COVID-19 vaccination center, opened at Qatar National Convention Center. The visit aimed to review the state’s plan to expand the national program for vaccination against COVID -19.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior inspected the center run by the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH). The centers first phase will focus on vaccinating teachers and school staff, in addition to other essential workers and community members who meet the eligibility criteria.
His Excellency was briefed on the mechanism of work in general, the operational capacity of the center and the medical procedures used.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior was accompanied by HE Minister of Public Health Dr. Hanan Mohamed Al Kuwari and a number of senior official in the health sector and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

الدوحة: زار معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، اليوم، مركز التطعيم المؤقت ضد فيروس /كوفيد-19/ الذي افتُتح في مركز قطر الوطني للمؤتمرات، وذلك للاطلاع على خطة توسيع الدولة للبرنامج الوطني للتطعيم ضد فيروس /كوفيد-19/.
وتفقد معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية المركز الذي تديره مؤسسة الرعاية الصحية الأولية بالتعاون مع وزارة الصحة العامة، وستركز المرحلة الأولى في المركز على تطعيم المعلمين وموظفي المدارس، بالإضافة إلى العمال الأساسيين الآخرين وأفراد المجتمع الذين يستوفون معايير الأهلية.
كما استمع معاليه إلى شرح حول آلية العمل بشكل عام والقدرة التشغيلية للمركز والإجراءات الطبية المتبعة.
رافق معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، سعادة الدكتورة حنان محمد الكواري وزيرة الصحة العامة وعدد من كبار مسؤولي القطاع الصحي ووزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي.
