QRCS Launches Promote Benevolence Initiative

Doha: Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has launched an innovative campaign titled “Promote Benevolence”, which is aimed at spreading a culture of humanitarian action and engaging individuals in communicating the humanitarian message with its implications.

Director of Communication and Public Relations at QRCS Mohamed Rashid Al Marri said the initiative had three underlying premises: humanitarian and charitable work needs, in addition to financial and in-kind support, an effort to promote and reinforce it; active community contribution can greatly support social, relief, and development causes; and the principle partnership is crucial.

“QRCS believes in the value of partnership for the success of charitable work,” said Al Marri. “No single humanitarian organization can undertake relief and development responsibilities without joining forces with other international organizations, companies, government bodies, and NGOs, employing the principle of social responsibility to mobilize resources at individual and institutional levels”.

He added, “Just as QRCS seeks partnership agreements and MoUs with the many organizations it works with, it pays attention to communicating with society members, to speak for charity in a simple and easy-to-use manner”.

In a widely received video on social media, Al Marri told the public, “By contributing to the Promote Benevolence initiative, you will have your own share of reward from Allah. Prophet Mohamed said, ‘Whoever leads to good, then for him is the same reward as the one who does it’. Join us by sending a WhatsApp message containing your name to 30032040. This way, you will be promoting benevolence on your social media accounts. Also, post and share the hashtag #PromoteBenevolence to gain the same divine reward as everyone who takes part in this initiative”.

الدوحة: أعلن الهلال الأحمر القطري عن إطلاق مبادرة إنسانية تحت شعار /ناشر خير/، تهدف لدعم ونشر ثقافة العمل الإنساني على أوسع نطاق، وإشراك أفراد المجتمع في تعزيز ونقل الرسالة الإنسانية بمعانيها ومكوناتها إلى مختلف الفئات.

وقال السيد محمد راشد المري، مدير إدارة الاتصال والعلاقات العامة بالهلال الأحمر القطري، إن مبادرة /ناشر خير/ ترتكز على ثلاثة مقومات أساسية هي: أن العمل الخيري الإنساني بقدر حاجته للدعم المالي والعيني يحتاج أيضا إلى النشر والتوعية والتعزيز، وأن المساهمة المجتمعية الفاعلة لها أثرها الكبير في مساندة القضايا ذات البعد الاجتماعي والإغاثي والتنموي، وأخيرا التأكيد الدائم على مفهوم الشراكة.

وأضاف أن “الهلال الأحمر القطري يؤمن بأهمية الشراكة والتعاون في إنجاح العمل الخيري والإنساني، إذ لا تستطيع أي جهة إنسانية أن تقوم منفردة بأعباء الإغاثة والتنمية دون أن تتضافر جهودها ومواردها مع غيرها من الهيئات الدولية والشركات والمؤسسات الحكومية وغير الحكومية، تفعيلا لمبدأ المسؤولية الاجتماعية وحشدا للدعم على كافة المستويات، سواء من الأفراد أم المؤسسات”، مبينا أنه “من هذا المنطلق، وبنفس حرص الهلال الأحمر القطري على إبرام اتفاقيات الشراكة ومذكرات التفاهم مع معظم الجهات التي يتعاون معها، فإنه يحرص أيضا على التواصل والتعاون مع أبناء المجتمع في نشر رسالة الخير بوسيلة بسيطة ويسيرة في متناول كل إنسان”.

وخاطب المري الجمهور، في رسالة مصورة لقيت تفاعلا متميزا عبر مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، قائلا: “مساهمتك معنا في مبادرة /ناشر خير/ تجعلك شريكا معنا في الأجر، مصداقا لحديث الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم (من دل على خير فله مثل أجر فاعله).. فبادر معنا وكن ناشرا للخير بإرسالك رسالة واتس آب مكتوبا فيها اسمك على الرقم الهاتفي /30032040/ لتساهم في نشر الخير على حساباتك في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وقم بنشر ومشاركة هاشتاج /المبادرة #ناشر_خير/ لتحصد مثل ثواب كل شخص يتفاعل معنا في هذه المبادرة بإذن الله”.
