Amir Patronizes Graduation of 8th Batch of Al Zaeem Air College

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of students of Al Zaeem (Leader) Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College at Al Udeid Air Base on Wednesday morning.
The graduation ceremony was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers, the Deputy Commander of US Air Forces Central Command Major General Michael Koscheski , Operations and Training Assistant in the State of Kuwait Major General Faleh Shujaa, Commander of the College of Aviation Sciences in the Republic of Sudan Major General (Pilot) Youssef Ahmed Taha, Commander of the Rwanda Military Academy Major General Danny Gatsinzi, Commander of King Hussein Air College in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Brigadier General (Pilot) Khalid Mohammed Al-Faour, and a number of leaders of colleges, institutes and security and military academies from brotherly and friendly countries.
The ceremony was also attended by senior officers of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard and the State Security Bureau, in addition to their Excellencies heads of diplomatic missions in the country and the parents of the graduates.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the national anthem was played and the Commander of the parade came forward to request HH the Amir to review the queue of the 85 graduates from the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait and the Republic of Rwanda.
After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and the performance of the graduates’ parade and the military parade, HH the Amir honored the first ten outstanding graduates, who were pilots and support majors. Afterward, the eighth batch handed over the flag to the ninth batch and the order for promotion was then read out and the parade queue left.
The air show began with a number of aircraft of the Qatari Amiri Air Force, such as Rafale, Mirage, C-130 and C-17 transport aircraft and Agusta 139 helicopters. Moreover, Al Zaeem Colleges aircrafts took part in the show using PC-21, Super Mushshak and the H 125 helicopters.
At the end of the ceremony, the officers of the eighth batch took the oath and performed the national anthem.
In a speech on the occasion, the Acting Commander of Al Zaeem Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College Brigadier Pilot Abdullah Mubarak Al Mohannadi said the 8th batch of students have spent three years of theoretical and practical training using the latest technology and have successfully completed the requirements for obtaining a Bachelors degree in Aeronautics.
The number of graduates were 85 students, including 71 pilots and 14 from support specialties. Among the graduates 10 from the sisterly State of Kuwait and 2 from the friendly Republic of Rwanda.
The celebration this year came under exceptional circumstances which formed an unprecedented reality that placed everyone in front of huge challenges that cast shadows on all walks of life as a result of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, he added, noting that these circumstances did not discourage the College from moving forward with the implementation of expansion, development and modernization plans in the field of pilot training and support specialties in accordance with the best international standards.
The college has developed new specializations such as air traffic control, air supply officer and airport management specialization, in order to provide the Air Force with more professional national cadres capable of dealing with the most complex systems with high efficiency, Al Mohannadi said.
At the end of his speech, Al Zaeem Mohamed Bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Air College Acting Commander Staff Brigadier Pilot extended his congratulations on the graduation of the 8th batch of Al Zaeem Air College candidates.
He pointed out that the College provided all the capabilities over the years of study to qualify the candidates and refine their military and academic personalities and consolidate their lofty values so that they would be role models in all service and duty positions.

الدوحة: تفضل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، فشمل برعايته الكريمة، حفل تخريج الدفعة الثامنة من الطلبة المرشحين بكلية الزعيم محمد بن عبدالله العطية الجوية، وذلك بمقر الكلية بقاعدة العديد الجوية صباح اليوم.
حضر الحفل معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء، واللواء طيار مايكل كوتشيسكي نائب قائد القوات الجوية المركزية الأمريكية، واللواء ركن فالح شجاع فالح المعاون للعمليات والتدريب بدولة الكويت، واللواء طيار يوسف أحمد طه قائد كلية العلوم الجوية بجمهورية السودان، واللواء داني غاتسفيزي قائد الأكاديمية العسكرية بجمهورية رواندا، والعميد طيار خالد محمد الفاعور قائد كلية الملك حسين الجوية بالمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، وعدد من قيادات الكليات والمعاهد والأكاديميات الأمنية والعسكرية والجامعية من الدول الشقيقة والصديقة.
كما حضر الحفل كبار ضباط وزارة الدفاع ووزارة الداخلية والحرس الأميري وجهاز أمن الدولة، بالإضافة إلى أصحاب السعادة رؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية في الدولة، والسادة أولياء أمور الخريجين.
وفي بداية الحفل عزف النشيد الوطني وتلاه استئذان قائد الطابور لسمو الأمير المفدى بتفتيش طابور الخريجين البالغ عددهم 85 خريجا من دولة قطر ودولة الكويت وجمهورية رواندا.
وبعد تلاوة آيات من الذكر الحكيم وعرض مسير طابور الخريجين والاستعراض العسكري، قام سمو الأمير بتكريم أوائل الطلبة الخريجين وعددهم عشرة من الطيارين والتخصصات المساندة، من ثم تم استلام وتسليم العلم من الدفعة الثامنة إلى الدفعة التاسعة، وقراءة أمر التعيين وانصراف طابور العرض.
وبدأ العرض الجوي لعدد من الطائرات التابعة للقوات الجوية الأميرية القطرية مثل طائرات الرافال والميراج وطائرات النقل نوع c-130 وc- 17 وطائرات الهيلوكوبتر نوع اغوستا 139 وقد شاركت أيضا مجموعه من طائرات التدريب التابعة لكلية الزعيم محمد بن عبدالله العطية من نوع pc 21 والسوبر موشاك وطائرات الهيلوكوبتر نوع H 125.
وفي نهاية الحفل أدى ضباط الدفعة الثامنة القسم والنشيد الوطني.
وكان العميد ركن طيار عبدالله مبارك المهندي قائد كلية الزعيم محمد بن عبدالله الجوية بالوكالة، قد ألقى كلمة بهذه المناسبة، قال فيها: “لقد أمضى خريجو هذه الدفعة ثلاث سنوات من التدريب النظري والعملي باستخدام أحدث ما توصلت اليه التكنولوجيا وأنهوا بنجاح متطلبات الحصول على درجة البكالوريوس في العلوم الجوية، حيث بلغ عدد الخريجين /85/ مرشحا منهم /71/ طيارا و/14/ تخصصات مساندة، ومن ضمن الخريجين /10/ من دولة الكويت الشقيقة و/2/ من جمهورية رواندا الصديقة”.
وأوضح على أن الاحتفال هذا العام جاء في ظل ظروف استثنائية شكلت واقعا غير مسبوق وضع الجميع أمام تحديات جسام أرخت بظلالها على كافة مناحي الحياة نتيجة تفشي جائحة كورونا .. لافتا ان تلك الظروف لم تثني الكلية عن المضي قدما في تنفيذ خطط التوسع والتطوير والتحديث في مجال تدريب الطيارين والتخصصات الجوية المساندة وفق أفضل المعايير الدولية.
وأشار قائد كلية الزعيم محمد بن عبدالله الجوية بالوكالة إلى أن الكلية قامت باستحداث تخصصات جديدة مثل المراقبة الجوية ، وتخصص ضابط إمداد جوي وتخصص إدارة مطارات ، وذلك لرفد القوات الجوية بالمزيد من الكوادر الوطنية المحترفة القادرة على التعامل مع أعقد الأنظمة وبكفاءة عالية.
وقدم العميد ركن طيار عبدالله مبارك المهندي قائد كلية الزعيم محمد بن عبدالله الجوية بالوكالة في ختام كلمته التهاني لتخرج الدفعة الثامنة من مرشحي كلية الزعيم الجوية .. مشيرا إلى أن الكلية وفرت كل الإمكانات على مدى سنوات الدراسة لتأهيلهم وصقل شخصياتهم العسكرية والاكاديمية وترسيخ ما يتحلون به من قيم سامية ليكونوا المثل والقدوة في كل مواقع الخدمة وأداء الواجب.
