HMC Resumes Face-To-Face Outpatient Appointments

Doha: As the country continues its gradual lifting of restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced a return to face-to-face appointments for outpatient clinics.

As part of the gradual return to normal, HMC outpatient appointments will be conducted face-to-face with physicians in clinics.

HMC will continue to offer virtual clinics for some follow-up appointments or repeat prescriptions. Patients will be contacted by Nesma’ak about their appointment and whether their upcoming appointment is face-to-face or a virtual appointment.

HMC’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Abdulla Al Ansari said it was the appropriate time to return to face-to-face appointments.

“Early on in the pandemic we made the decision to conduct outpatient appointments and other services virtually this was essential to protect our patients, visitors and the wider public from the spread of COVID-19,” explained Dr. Al Ansari.

“As we start to gradually return to normal, it has been decided to resume in-person appointments where clinically appropriate. Measures will be in place to ensure social distancing and appropriate time between appointments.”

“Follow-up appointments for example for medication refills – will continue to be conducted virtually through telephone consultations. We would like to thank our patients and the community for their support and patience during the pandemic.”

All patients attending appointments in HMC Outpatients Departments will be required to show their Ehteraz status and have their body temperature taken prior to entry. Only patients with an appointment will be admitted to HMC facilities.

If a patient is experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms on the day of your appointment including fever or chills, shortness of breath or cough, we request they do not attend and call 16060 to reschedule.

HMC continues to offer a range of virtual services via the 16000-helpline including: Medication delivery, Mental health helpline, and Urgent Consultation Service.

الدوحة: أعلنت مؤسسة حمد الطبية عن عودة المواعيد في العيادات الخارجية بشكل مباشر مع حضور المرضى شخصيا كجزء من استمرار دولة قطر في تطبيق خطة الرفع التدريجي للقيود المفروضة جراء جائحة فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19).

وستواصل مؤسسة حمد الطبية تقديم خدماتها بشكل افتراضي لبعض مواعيد المتابعة أو لإعادة صرف الأدوية المكررة، وسيتم الاتصال بالمرضى عن طريق خدمة “نسمعك” لإخبارهم بما إذا كان موعدهم سيتم بشكل افتراضي أو وجها لوجه.

وفي هذا الصدد، أوضح الدكتور عبدالله الأنصاري رئيس الإدارة الطبية بمؤسسة حمد الطبية، أن هذا الوقت يعد الأنسب لعودة المواعيد بشكل طبيعي وجها لوجه، مشيرا إلى أن المؤسسة اتخذت قرارا مهما في وقت مبكر من تفشي فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) بإجراء مواعيد المرضى الخارجيين وبعض الخدمات الأخرى المقدمة بصورة افتراضية، حيث أن ذلك كان ضروريا لحماية المرضى، والزوار، وأفراد المجتمع بشكل عام من خطر انتشار فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19).

وأضاف الدكتور الأنصاري أنه مع العودة تدريجيا إلى الوضع الطبيعي، فقد تقررت عودة المواعيد بحضور المرضى شخصيا بما يتناسب مع المعايير الطبية، وسيتم اتخاذ التدابير اللازمة لضمان تطبيق التباعد الاجتماعي والوقت المناسب بين المواعيد، كما سيستمر إجراء مواعيد المتابعة -على سبيل المثال لإعادة صرف الأدوية – بشكل افتراضي من خلال الاستشارات الهاتفية.

وسيطلب من جميع المرضى لحضور مواعيدهم في أقسام العيادات الخارجية إظهار الحالة الصحية الخاصة بهم الموجودة على تطبيق احتراز وقياس درجة الحرارة قبل الدخول، وسيتم إدخال من لديهم موعد فقط للعيادة.

وفي حال شعور المريض بأي أعراض متعلقة بفيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) في اليوم الخاص بموعده في قسم العيادات الخارجية والتي تشمل الحمى، أو القشعريرة، أو ضيق في التنفس، أو السعال، يرجى منه عدم الحضور، والاتصال على الرقم 16060 لتحديد موعد آخر.

وتواصل مؤسسة حمد الطبية تقديم مجموعة من الخدمات الافتراضية من خلال الاتصال بخط المساعدة 16000 والتي تشمل: خدمة توصيل الأدوية، وخط المساعدة الخاص بالصحة النفسية، وخدمة الاستشارات العاجلة.
