سلطان عمان يشيد بجهود الكويت للم الشمل الخليجي

Muscat: Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik of the Sultanate of Oman commended the initiative of the late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as the efforts of the State of Kuwait in promoting rapprochement of views among Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states which culminated in accord to take positive steps to find a way out of the impasse of misunderstanding and to work together to bring back the GCC household into full harmony, according to Oman News Agency.
While presiding over a meeting of the Council of Ministers today, Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik expressed Oman’s continuous keenness to support all efforts to achieve consensus among GCC states.
He reaffirmed the pursuance of permanent stands of Omani foreign policy, which is based on good neighborliness, friendship and cooperation with all. He also reiterated the Sultanate’s principle of neutrality and non-intervention in the internal affairs of others.

وأكد السلطان هيثم بن طارق خلال ترؤسه، يوم أمس، اجتماع مجلس الوزراء العماني، وبثته وكالة الأنباء العمانية، حرص بلاده الدائم على مساندة كل الجهود التي تحقق التقارب بين دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.
كما أكد استمرار الحفاظ على ثوابت ومنطلقات السياسة الخارجية لسلطنة عمان المرتكزة على حسن الجوار والصداقة والتعاون مع الجميع، والحياد وعدم التدخل في شؤون الآخرين.
