QU Application for Undergraduate Admission for Spring 2021 Ends Today

Doha: Qatar University (QU) announced that online admission applications for new students, transfer students and students applying for the second bachelor’s degree for spring semester 2021 will end Tuesday, Nov. 3, and called on those wishing to apply to quickly submit their applications.

QU’s Admission Department stated potential students to fill out the admission application online through QU’s website with the required documents uploaded before the specified deadline.

Qatari government secondary school students are not required to submit their high school diploma because their results will be received from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and not all applicants are required to hand in the medical examination at this time, but will be required to hand it at a later time.

The Admission Department stressed the importance of promptly uploading other required documents before Nov. 5, 2020, for all new students, transfer students and students applying for the second bachelor’s degree.

Admission depends on the principle of competition between applicants, indicating that satisfying the minimum academic requirements does not guarantee that the student is accepted, but rather students are accepted according to the capacity of each college separately.

الدوحة: أعلنت جامعة قطر أن استقبال طلبات القبول الإلكترونية لطلبة البكالوريوس الجدد والمحولين من جامعات أخرى وطلبة درجة البكالوريوس الثانية للفصل الدراسي ربيع 2021، سينتهي اليوم /الثلاثاء/ الموافق 3 نوفمبر، داعية الراغبين في الالتحاق إلى سرعة تقديم طلباتهم .

وأوضحت إدارة القبول بالجامعة أن تقديم طلب القبول يتم تعبئته إلكترونيا على موقع الجامعة الرسمي، مع تحميل المستندات المطلوبة إلكترونيا من خلال الطلب الالكتروني للقبول قبل الموعد النهائي المحدد .

ونوهت إلى أنه لا يتوجب على طلبة المدارس الثانوية القطرية الحكومية تسليم الشهادة الثانوية ، حيث سيتم استلام نتائجهم من وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي، كما أنه لا يتوجب على جميع المتقدمين تسليم الكشف الطبي في الوقت الحالي، بل سيُطلب تسليمه في وقت لاحق.

وأكدت إدارة القبول على أهمية سرعة تحميل المستندات الأخرى المطلوبة قبل تاريخ 5 نوفمبر 2020، وذلك لجميع الطلبة الجدد والطلبة المحولين والطلبة المتقدمين لدرجة البكالوريوس الثانية.

كما أشارت إلى أن القبول يعتمد على مبدأ المنافسة بين المتقدمين، مبينة أن تحقيق الحد الأدنى من متطلبات الدراسة في الشهادة الثانوية لا يعني قبول الطالب على الرغبة الأولى، وإنما يتم قبول الطلاب وفق القدرة الاستيعابية لكل كلية على حدة.

ومن المقرر أن تعلن جامعة قطر عن قرارات القبول لفصل ربيع 2021 في 20 ديسمبر المقبل.
