Reopening of a number of outdoor facilities in the Education City

Qatar Foundation has begun to reopen a number of outdoor facilities for the Education City, where the Oxygen Park was opened yesterday to visitors in the morning periods from 6:00 am to 11:00 am and in the evening from 3 to 8 pm.

The foundation noted through its official social media accounts that food and beverage venues have not yet been opened so visitors can bring their own snacks and drinks if they plan to spend time in the garden. The Foundation stressed the need to show “EHTERAZ” app status and wearing of face masks all the time also temperature will be checked, while adhering to the laws and procedures adopted in the country regarding social distancing.

The Foundation also continues to offer a number of interactive sports activities remotely where registration was opened for the swimming and interactive football education program for people with special needs available during this month with training activities dedicated to improving and developing sports skills in children, with the coming days witnessing the gradual opening of a series of activities, sporting events and facilities, as part of the plan to resume the return of facilities and return to offices, with the beginning of the gradual easing of precautionary measures at the national level.

The Foundation noted that the implementation of these plans will be based on government directives in this regard, in accordance with public health indicators in The State of Qatar, and health indicators in the institution itself, in line with the multi-disciplinary nature of work and the diversity of the QF community.

بدأت مؤسسة قطر في إعادة افتتاح عدد من المرافق الخارجية للمدينة التعليمية، حيث تم أمس افتتاح حديقة الأكسجين أمام الزوار في فترتين الصباحية من 6 : 11 صباحاً والفترة المسائية من الساعة 3 حتى 8 مساءً.

ونوهت المؤسسة عبر حساباتها الرسمية على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي أن أماكن الأطعمة والمشروبات لم يتم افتتاحها بعد لذا يمكن للزوار إحضار وجباتهم الخفيفة والمشروبات الخاصة بهم في حال خططوا لقضاء الوقت بالحديقة. وشددت المؤسسة على ضرورة الالتزام بإبراز تطبيق احتراز ولبس الكمامة طوال الوقت كما سيتم التأكد من درجة الحرارة، مع الالتزام بتطبيق القوانين والإجراءات المتبعة في الدولة بخصوص التباعد الاجتماعي.

كما تواصل المؤسسة تقديم عدد من الأنشطة الرياضية التفاعلية عن بعد حيث تم فتح باب التسجيل لبرنامج تعليم السباحة وكرة القدم التفاعلية لذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة المتاحة خلال الشهر الجاري مع أنشطة تدريبية مخصصة لتحسين وتطوير المهارات الرياضية لدى الأطفال على أن تشهد الأيام القادمة افتتاح سلسلة من الأنشطة والفعاليات الرياضية والمرافق تدريجياً، ضمن خطة استئناف العودة بافتتاح المرافق والعودة إلى المكاتب، وذلك مع بدء التخفيف التدريجي للإجراءات الاحترازية على المستوى الوطني.

وأشارت المؤسسة إلى أن تطبيق هذه الخطط ووضعها موضع التنفيذ سيكون بالاستناد إلى التوجيهات الحكومية في هذا الشأن، ووفق المؤشرات الصحية العامة في دولة قطر، والمؤشرات الصحية في المؤسسة نفسها، وذلك بما يتماشى مع طبيعة العمل متعددة المجالات، والتنوع الذي يتسم به مجتمع مؤسسة قطر.
