With the low rate of daily cases of Coronavirus and the renewed hope that life will return to normalcy in Qatar, distance recreational activities are the only option and optimal at the moment, and in line with the precautionary measures put forward by the State, the training centres have launched a new series of activities, summer programmes and workshops for different age groups from a distance, combining the process of education, art and entertainment simultaneously until the first phase of the gradual lifting of restrictions imposed because of the Coronavirus pandemic is completed. Qatar Olympic Committee announces the launch of Team Qatar Virtual Games for cubs and adults remotely. Highlights include “Live with Team Qatar”, running and cycling races for adults and cubs, the FIFA Online Championship, as well as handicrafts, arts and more.

Moroccan researcher Youssef Melan will be invited to one of the sessions organized by the Book Forum in collaboration with the Qatar Library in Arabic, during which he will discuss astronomical observatories and their impact on theories of the genesis of the universe and celestial bodies, as well as highlighting the common facts and mistakes associated with the formation of stars and galaxies and reflecting on understanding the possibility of solar clusters.
