Katara launches heritage collection contest
كتارا تطلق مسابقة مقتنيات تراثية

As part of Katara Summer Events 2020, the Cultural Village Foundation has launched the Heritage Collection Competition which will see participants shoot videos that tell stories of traditional antique items.
Participation is open to Qataris and residents over 18 years of age. Each participant can submit three videos, each of which shouldn’t exceed three minutes and should be of high quality and in horizontal format shot using a mobile phone only.
Any video containing copyrighted (music, image) or inappropriate content will be excluded. Katara has the right to publish videos on social networking sites or to use them for any purpose deemed appropriate.
The top three winners will receive QR15,000; QR12,000 and QR10,000 respectively. Participants can send videos via WhatsApp on mobile number 33302040 not later than July 30. The contest is part of the Katara Summer 2020 events, which include a series of competitions, presentations, and activities that the foundation will offer remotely through its social media platforms. It will also launch a series of virtual exhibitions, weekly theatre events, and a variety of lectures, seminars and workshops in various fields of culture, literature and art.
Other competitions are the Katara Handicrafts Competition, the Katara Competition for Novel and Fine Arts, the Meshwar and Novel Competition, as well as the Al-Dhad channel competition and Katara Prize for Cartoon. Valuable prizes have been allocated to the winners in each category of the competitions.
Katara seeks to stimulate the various groups of society and encourage them to enhance their creative abilities and develop them within the innovative and targeted activities during the pandemic.

أطلقت المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي /كتارا/، مسابقة مقتنيات تراثية مفتوحة أمام المواطنين والمقيمين داخل دولة قطر ممن هم فوق 18 عاماً، وتستهدف تصوير مقاطع فيديو بالهاتف الجوال تحكي قصة أي من هذه المقتنيات.
وأوضحت /كتارا/ أن طريقة المشاركة في المسابقة المفتوح بابها حتى 30 يوليو المقبل، ستتم عبر تصوير مقطع فيديو باستعمال الجوال وليس الكاميرا، يقدم فيه المشارك قصة لمقتنيات تراثية، على ألا تتجاوز مدة المقطع ثلاث دقائق كحد أقصى، مشيرة إلى أن للمشارك الحق في تقديم ثلاثة أعمال، يشترط أن يكون تصويرها عالي الجودة وبالشكل الأفقي.
ولفتت إلى أنه سيتم استبعاد الأعمال التي تحتوي على موسيقى مسجلة بحقوق ملكية أو التي تقدم محتوى غير لائق من المشاركة، منوهة إلى أنه يحق لكتارا نشر الفيديوهات على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي أو استخدامها في أي غرض تراه مناسبا، ودعت المشاركين إلى إرسال الفيديوهات بالواتساب على الهاتف رقم /33302040/.
وأوضحت أن الفائزين بالمراكز الثلاثة الأولى سيحصلون على جوائز قيمة، حيث سينال صاحب المركز الأول 15 ألف ريال، وصاحب المركز الثاني 12 ألف ريال، أما الفائز بالمركز الثالث فسيحصل على جائزة قدرها 10 آلاف ريال.
يشار إلى أن فعاليات صيف /كتارا 2020/ عن بعد، تتضمن العديد من المسابقات مثل مسابقة مقتنيات تراثية، ومسابقة كتارا للمشغولات اليدوية، ومسابقة كتارا للرواية والفن التشكيلي، ومسابقة مشوار ورواية، ومسابقة قناة الضاد، بالإضافة إلى جائزة كتارا للكاريكاتير، وقد رصدت /كتارا/ جوائز قيمة للفائزين بكل فئة في مسابقاتها.
وتسعى هذه المسابقات والفعاليات إلى تحفيز مختلف فئات المجتمع وتشجيعها على تعزيز قدراتها الإبداعية وتطويرها ضمن أنشطة مبتكرة وهادفة، في ظل الإجراءات الاحترازية والوقائية التي تتخذها /كتارا/ لمواجهة فيروس كورونا /كوفيد – 19/ ومنع انتشاره.
