Abdullah al-Mannai, director of meteorology of the General Authority for Civil Aviation, warned that the winds of al-Buarah will continue until Wednesday morning and will return again on Friday. Al-Mannai said in a special statement to al-Raya: The country is affected by strong north-westerly winds to high speed peak during daylight hours to range from 15 to 25 knots with blows of up to 35 knots sometimes and lower at night, and the activity of wind is accompanied by light dust to windblown dust especially in exposed areas with reduced visibility duration to less than 2 km sometimes.

“Warnings of high waves of 5 to 8 feet, up to 12 feet in some areas, and warnings continue to avoid marine activities throughout the week, as well as high temperatures of between 35 and 44 degrees Celsius at noon and the lowest of 26 to 33 degrees in different regions of the country.”

حذر عبدالله المناعي مدير الأرصاد الجوية التابعة للهيئة العامة للطيران المدني من استمرار رياح البوارح حتى صباح الأربعاء على أن تعود مرة أخرى يوم الجمعة القادم. وقال المناعي في تصريحات خاصة ل  الراية : تتأثر البلاد برياح شمالية غربية نشطة إلى قوية السرعة تبلغ ذروتها خلال ساعات النهار لتتراوح من 15 إلى 25 عقدة مع هبات تصل إلى 35 عقدة أحياناً وتقل سرعتها ليلاً ، ويصاحب نشاط الرياح غبار خفيف إلى غبار مثار خاصةً في المناطق المكشوفة مع تدني مدة الرؤية إلى أقل من 2 كم أحياناً.

وأضاف: تستمر التحذيرات من استمرار أمواج عالية تتراوح من 5 إلى 8 أقدام، تصل إلى 12 قدمًا على بعض المناطق، واستمرار التحذيرات بتجنب الأنشطة البحرية طوال فترة الأسبوع، إلى جانب ارتفاع درجات الحرارة حيث تصل العظمى خلال هذه الفترة بين 35 إلى 44 درجة مئوية وقت الظهيرة والصغرى بين 26 إلى 33 درجة في مختلف مناطق البلاد.
