QRCS selected among Qatar’s top supportive organisations in COVID-19 crisis

Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) has been announced by Ipsos, the world’s third largest research agency, as one of 10 Qatari organisations that proved most supportive in dealing with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The French market research and consulting firm has recently conducted a series of in-depth studies to understand how the coronavirus outbreak impacted the attitudes, behaviours, and future expectations of consumers and global markets. In the MENA region, eight countries, including Qatar, were selected to track public sentiment and behaviour in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

Through online interviews, Ipsos asked nationals and residents of Qatar which companies they thought have best participated in supporting the country during the current COVID-19 crisis.

The top 10 choices were Al-Meera, Doha Bank, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), ooredoo, Qatar Airways, Qatar Charity (QC), Qatar Foundation (QF), Qatar National Bank (QNB), Qatar Petroleum (QP), and QRCS. According to the report, QRCS’s successful coronavirus control efforts were spotlighted in many research studies by Ipsos and other multinational firms concerned with the pandemic.

Within its public information strategy, QRCS launched a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about protective measures, including lectures, social media messages, and mass media materials.

Over 18,000 volunteers were deployed to take part in helping others.

اختارت شركة «إبسوس» الفرنسية، إحدى أكبر 3 مؤسسات متخصصة في أبحاث السوق على مستوى العالم، الهلال الأحمر القطري ضمن المؤسسات القطرية الأكثر تأثيراً في مواجهة فيروس كورونا «كوفيد – 19».

جاء هذا الاختيار من خلال التقييم الذي أجرته الشركة لقياس مدى تأثير المؤسسات القطرية في مواجهة جائحة وباء «كوفيد – 19»، وأسفر عن اختيار 10 مؤسسات قطرية بناء على استطلاعات الرأي. وقد تم هذا التقييم ضمن سلسلة من الأبحاث المتعمقة التي أجرتها الشركة منذ بدء تفشي وباء «كورونا» عالمياً، وما أحدثه من تأثير جذري على حياة الناس وسلوكهم، وكذلك على الأسواق العالمية.

وفيما يتعلق بمنطقة الشرق الأوسط، ركزت الشركة على 8 دول من بينها دولة قطر، من أجل تقييم التأثير الإيجابي للمؤسسات القطرية في خضم هذه الأزمة. ووضعت شركة «إبسوس» 8 معايير رئيسية لرصد وتقييم تأثير المؤسسات القطرية، ثم قامت بإجراء استفتاء شمل شرائح مختلفة من المجتمع، لاستطلاع رأيهم حول أكثر المؤسسات التي يرون توافر هذه المعايير فيها، حيث أظهرت النتيجة اختيار جمعية الهلال الأحمر القطري من الجمهور باعتبارها أحد 10 مؤسسات تمتلك قوة التأثير والمساندة للمجتمع في ظل الأزمة. وضمت قائمة المؤسسات التي اختارها الجمهور، بالإضافة إلى الهلال الأحمر القطري، وزارة الصحة العامة، وشركة الميرة، وبنك الدوحة، وشركة ooredoo، والخطوط الجوية القطرية، وجمعية قطر الخيرية، ومؤسسة قطر، وبنك قطر الوطني، وشركة قطر للبترول.ومن بين معايير ونتائج التقييم التي نشرتها الشركة المذكورة، التعامل الإيجابي مع القلق والخوف في المجتمع، والموقف تجاه الجهات الحكومية والصحية، والدور الإعلامي في التصدي للجائحة، والإجراءات الاحترازية ضد الوباء.
