Thousands watch Katara online Eid celebration

The online Eid Al Fitr celebration by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) generated huge interest on its website and its accounts on social media platforms. The celebrations attracted many people as its website recorded, in the first two days of the holiday, more than 132,000 visits to follow various Eid programme. The celebration included a set of programs, including virtual fireworks that were organized by Katara to celebrate Eid and attract large numbers of people. The four-day celebration will conclude today. 

In line with the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Katara was keen to make its celebrations innovative and compatible with the holiday atmosphere filled with joy and surprise.

The “Al Eidiya” program also witnessed an unprecedented turnout by followers. For the distribution of Al Eidiya (gifts), people have to register on the website to get it. In case the participant wins, he will get e-voucher via WhatsApp.  

Katara gifts (Al Eidiya) will be send through the sponsor of the delivery service, Rafiq Company, after May 30. Katara will also distribute some gifts to Dreama children who are in health quarantine.

Katara has also been keen on creating innovative competitions that included choosing the most beautiful costume for children on the Eid by sending a photo or video of the participating child. One of the conditions for this competition is that the image or video should be of high quality. Other conditions are that Katara can use the pictures or videos for any purpose. The deadline for submitting entries is May 30. 

Participants should send pictures or videos on WhatsApp to the number 66011303. Five winners will be chosen from the entries. 

The Katara reaffirmed, despite exceptional circumstances this year, its position as a prime Eid destination as many people watch its activities online. 

The Cultural Village Foundation- Katara has always been a hotspot destination during Eid Al Fitr celebration offering an array of fun activities for its visitors. It also used to distribute gifts in occasion of Eid Al Fitr to the children at the Katara amphitheatre and a large play area is allocated for them which include many entertainment activities for them. This year gifts will be sent to children while they are at their homes.

تختتم المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا»، اليوم الأربعاء، احتفالاتها بعيد الفطر المبارك التي امتدت أيام العيد الأربعة، مستقطبة بذلك إقبالاً كبيراً على متابعتها والمشاركة فيها من خلال موقعها الإلكتروني وحساباتها على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي.

وقد حرصت «كتارا» تماشيا مع السياسة الاحترازية للوقاية من انتشار فيروس كورونا «كوفيد – 19» على أن تكون احتفالاتها مبتكرة من جهة، ومتلائمة مع أجواء العيد المليئة بالفرحة والدهشة، وهو ما لاقى إعجاب الجمهور حيث سجل موقعها الإلكتروني في اليومين الأولين من العيد ما يزيد عن 132 ألف زيارة لمتابعة مختلف فقرات البرنامج الاحتفالي بالعيد، الذي يضم مجموعة من المفاجآت، ومنها الألعاب النارية الافتراضية التي حاكت الألعاب النارية التي كانت «كتارا» تنظمها احتفالاً بالأعياد وتجذب أعداداً غفيرة لمتابعتها. ويشار إلى أن الجمهور يمكنه متابعة فقرة الألعاب النارية الافتراضية على موقع «كتارا» الساعة الثامنة مساء.

أما فقرة العيدية فقد عرفت بدورها إقبالاً غير مسبوق من قبل المتابعين، وهي تنطلق طيلة فترات العيد على موعدين، الأول السابعة مساء. ليكون الموعد الثاني لتوزيع العيدية الساعة التاسعة مساءً.

وبخصوص الحصول على عيدية كتارا عن بعد، تؤكد المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا» أهمية التسجيل في موقع كتارا الإلكتروني، حيث بإمكان الجمهور المتابع الحصول على العيدية (سواء كانت عينية أو رقمية) عن طريق الطابور الافتراضي أو عن طريق السحب العشوائي الذي سيجري في الموقع. وفي حال حالف الحظ المشارك ستصله القسيمة الإلكترونية عن طريق «واتس آب». كما ستصل عيديات كتارا عن بعد عن طريق راعي خدمة التوصيل «شركة رفيق» بعد تاريخ 30 مايو. بالإضافة إلى سحوبات أخرى ستتم على حسابات عدد من مؤثري التواصل الاجتماعي. كما سيتم توزيع العيدية على أطفال مؤسسة دريمة والأطفال في الحجر الصحي. كما سترسل «كتارا» عيدية للأطفال مع كل طلبات مطاعم «كتارا».

كما حرصت «كتارا» على إحداث مسابقات مبتكرة تتمثل في اختيار أجمل زي للأطفال في العيد من خلال إرسال صورة أو فيديو للطفل المشارك، ومن شروط هذه المسابقة أن تكون الصورة أو الفيديو ذات جودة عالية، على أن تعود ملكية المواد الفائزة للمؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا» ويحق لها استخدامها لأي غرض. يذكر أن آخر موعد لتسليم المشاركات سيكون يوم 30 مايو على الساعة 8 مساء. وللمشاركة يرجى إرسال الصور أو الفيديوهات على «واتس آب» على الرقم 66011303. حيث سيتم اختيار خمس فائزين بأجمل زي (فيديو أو صورة) وتتمثل الجوائز في لوائح إلكترونية. كما حرصت «كتارا» على مشاركة الجمهور احتفالاتهم في العيد وستقوم بنشر الفيديوهات على استوري «إنستجرام كتارا».
