Students of Religious Institute take exam under preventive and precautionary measures

The final examinations of senior secondary level of the students of the Religious Institute (Al Mahad Al Adini) for the academic year 2019-20 have begun with special arrangement following the State’s preventive and precautionary measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.

A total of 48 students who are taking the examination were divided into six groups at the rate of eight students in each group, said the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in a release.

The examinations are being conducted adhering to the social distancing following the State’s preventive and precautionary measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.

The examinations which began on May 4, 2020 will continue till May 14 and the second round of examinations will be held from June 1 to 13.

Following the directive of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Religious Institute took all preventive measures to ensure safety of students and staff amid the outbreak of coronavirus.

The Religious Institute in coordination with the Ministry of Education provided thermal screening device for testing students, academic staffs and other people.

Students and examiners were asked strictly to undergo the screening and wear face masks and gloves.

Waiting rooms were prepared for the students to maintain the social distance. The seating arrangement at the examination halls was made at a distance of two meters between two students.

تنفيذاً لتوجيهات وزارة التعليم، قامت إدارة المعهد الديني باتخاذ كافة التدابير والإجراءات الاحترازية التي تكفل سير عملية اختبارات نهاية الفصل الثاني للشهادة الثانوية بالمعهد في أمن وسلاسة حفاظاً على صحة وسلامة الطلاب والملاحظين ولجان السير في ظل جائحة كورونا.

وعقمت وزارة التعليم، حسب تغريدات على حسابه بـ”تويتر”، لجان الاختبارات، وفصول انتظار الطلاب قبل وبعد الاختبار، وترك مساحات لا تقل عن مترين بين الطلاب داخل اللجان، ووضع لوحات إرشادية في كل اللجان بضرورة ترك مساحات التباعد الاجتماعي بين الطلاب حرصاً على صحتهم وسلامتهم.

كما وفرت أجهزة حرارية لفحص الطلاب والملاحظين ولجان السير على مداخل المعهد والحافلات،وشددت على ارتداء القفازات والكمامات الطبية للجميع، مع توفير قفازات وكمامات إضافية عند الحاجة إليها، واشترطت عدم دخول أي من الطلاب أو الملاحظين إلا بعد الفحص الحراري والتأكد من ارتدائه للكمامات .
