Qatar bans shisha/hookah in all restaurants and cafes due to coronavirus
قطر تمنع تداول الشيشة في جميع المطاعم والمقاهي بسبب فيروس كورونا
Doha: Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) issued a decision today to prohibit Shisha/hookah in all restaurants and cafes operating in the country, starting from today until further notice.
This decision comes in light of the current health conditions and in line with preventive measures to avoid Coronavirus 2019 (Covid 19) infections.
The Ministry affirms that any party that violates this decision will be held accountable and legal action will be taken.
The Ministry urged all companies and individuals to follow preventive measures to ensure their safety and that of the community and refer to the website of the Ministry for all information and resources about Covid 19 virus that is provided in several languages, or call toll-free number 16000.
أصدرت وزارة الصحة العامة اليوم قرارا بمنع تداول الشيشة في جميع المطاعم والمقاهي العاملة في الدولة، اعتبارا من اليوم وحتى إشعار آخر.
وأفاد بيان لوزارة الصحة بأن هذا القرار يأتي في ضوء الأوضاع الصحية الراهنة وبما يتماشى مع الإجراءات الوقائية لتجنب أسباب العدوى بفيروس كورونا 2019 (كوفيد 19).
وأكد بيان الوزارة أن أي جهة تخالف هذا القرار ستعرض نفسها للمساءلة والإجراءات القانونية المتبعة في هذا الإطار.
وتحث وزارة الصحة العامة كافة الجهات والأفراد على اتباع الإجراءات الوقائية لضمان سلامتهم وسلامة مجتمعهم، والرجوع إلى الموقع الالكتروني للوزارة www.moph.gov.qa للاطلاع على كافة المعلومات والموارد حول فيروس (كوفيد 19) والتي توفرها بعدة لغات، أو الاتصال على رقم الاتصال المجاني (16000).
