MoTC temporarily suspend Doha Metro, public transit services
المواصلات تعلن إيقافاً مؤقتاً لخدمات النقل العام ومترو الدوحة
Taking precautionary measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus, the Ministry of Transport and Communications yesterday announced suspension of Doha Metro, Metrolink and public transit bus service on weekend. These services will resume from Sunday, said the Ministry.
“In view of Coronavirus COVID-19 prevention precautionary measures taken in the country, we would like to inform you that Doha Metro preview service, public transit bus service and Metrolink service have been temporarily suspended starting this evening Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 22.00. The service will resume on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 06.00,” said the Ministry of Transport and Communications on its official twitter account.
أعلنت وزارة المواصلات والاتصالات عن إيقاف مؤقت لخدمة مترو الدوحة وخدمة حافلات النقل العام وخدمة حافلات مترو لينك وذلك من الساعة 10 مساء الخميس على أن يتم معاودة الخدمة يوم الأحد المقبل 6 صباحاً .
وقالت الوزارة – في تغريدة على حسابها الرسمي بموقع تويتر – إن هذا الإيقاف يأتي في ضوء التدابير والإجراءات الاحترازية التي تتخذها الدولة.
