The General Authority of Civil Aviation (QCAA) has announced that it is cooperating with the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) to provide weather information through the illuminated electronic boards of Ashghal in a number of main and highways in different parts of the country. Meteorological.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (QCAA) said in a statement today that under this cooperation, road users will be able to know the weather conditions, recorded temperatures, humidity rates and weather warnings in Arabic and English, according to the special bulletins issued by the QCAA’s Meteorological Department. The General Authority of Civil Aviation (QCAA) pays special attention to meteorology, providing it with the necessary support both in terms of advanced technologies and equipment or in terms of expertise and specialized cadres to achieve more quality in the work, in addition to keeping abreast of all developments in this area.
This interest comes from the Authority’s belief in the major and essential role played by meteorology in various economic activities and areas of daily life, through important bulletins issued by the authorities responsible for air traffic, air navigation, ports and maritime navigation, and all other government agencies and private entities in the country. Its activity is influenced by weather factors.
It is worth mentioning that the General Authority of Civil Aviation recently launched the meteorological application “Meteorological Qatar”, which is a new digital platform for all weather information in the State of Qatar, in addition to many other distinctive services included in the daily weather report in all cities and regions of the State of Qatar, and reports Monthly and weather in the most important cities of the world.

أعلنت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني أنها تتعاون مع هيئة الأشغال العامة (أشغال) في تقديم معلومات عن حالة الطقس عن طريق اللوحات الإلكترونية المضيئة الخاصة بأشغال في عدد من الشوارع الرئيسية والسريعة بمناطق متفرقة بالدولة وذلك في إطار جهود الطيران المدني لتطوير آليات العمل ومواكبة المعايير العالمية في مجال الأرصاد الجوية.
وذكرت الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني ،في بيان لها اليوم، أنه بموجب هذا التعاون سيتمكن مرتادو الطرق من معرفة حالة الطقس ودرجات الحرارة المسجلة ومعدلات الرطوبة والتحذيرات المرتبطة بالطقس باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، حسب النشرات الخاصة التي تصدرها إدارة الأرصاد الجوية بالهيئة العامة للطيران المدني يومياً والتي يتم تحديثها ومتابعتها على مدار الساعة.
وتولي الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني اهتماماً خاصاً بالأرصاد الجوية، حيث تقدم لها الدعم اللازم سواء فيما يتعلق بالتقنيات والأجهزة المتطورة أو من حيث الخبرات والكوادر المتخصصة بما يحقق المزيد من الجودة في العمل، هذا إلى جانب مواكبة كل التطورات التي يشهدها هذا المجال.
ويأتي هذا الاهتمام انطلاقاً من إيمان الهيئة بالدور الكبير والأساسي الذي تقوم به الأرصاد الجوية في مختلف الأنشطة الاقتصادية ومجالات الحياة اليومية، وذلك من خلال النشرات المهمة التي تصدرها للجهات المسؤولة عن حركة الطيران والملاحة الجوية والموانئ والملاحة البحرية، وكافة الجهات الحكومية الأخرى والجهات الخاصة في الدولة التي يتأثر نشاطها بالعوامل الجوية.
يذكر أن الهيئة العامة للطيران المدني قامت مؤخراً بتدشين تطبيق الأرصاد الجوية “أرصاد قطر”، الذي يعتبر منصة رقمية جديدة لجميع معلومات الطقس في دولة قطر، إلى جانب العديد من الخدمات المميزة الأخرى التي يتضمنها كتقرير الحالة الجوية اليومية في كافة مدن ومناطق دولة قطر، والتقارير الشهرية وحالة الطقس في أهم مدن العالم.
