Qatar hosts Induction Days of ALECSO & ISESCO
قطر تستضيف الاحتفال بأيام «إيسيسكو» و«الألكسو»
In the presence of representatives of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) and the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the Ministry of Culture and Sports hosted yesterday the Induction Days of the two organisations.
The event, organised under the supervision of the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the Qatari Commission and other organisations including ALECSO and ISESCO, and the means of benefiting from these organisations in developing and updating educational, cultural and media policies within the country.
The second day of the event will be held at Cultural Village Foundation – Katara to introduce the two organisations’ efforts and strategies and ways to cooperate and benefit from the programmes offered by them.
“Qatar was one of the first countries to join the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). It established the Qatar National Commission to act as a liaison between UNESCO and the ministries and authorities concerned with the sectors of education, science and culture,” said Secretary General of the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science Dr Hamda Hassan Al Sulaiti.
In her speech on the occasion, Al Sulaiti spoke about the cooperation that binds the Commission with international and regional organisations, including ALECSO and ISESCO, and ways to benefit from these organisations in the areas of education, culture and media policies in the country.
In order to benefit from potential as a civilized framework for people around the world and the expertise in development, Al Sulaiti stressed the continuation in the distinguished relations between Qatar and these organisations, pointing out that the cooperation between Qatar and these organisations gave a positive impact through implementing a number of projects.
Mohammed Al Gamari, Director of the Secretariat of the Executive Council, General Conference and Specialized Conferences of ISESCO, praised the cooperation between the ISESCO and the State of Qatar through a number of ministries and national institutions and charitable and humanitarian organisations in various educational, cultural and scientific fields.
He also stressed that the Directorate of Executive Council will continue to strengthen cooperation with member states, and seeks in accordance with its new vision to achieve sustainable development and highlight the civilizational model of the Islamic world in the international arena by contributing to international and regional efforts aimed at achieving the development goals of the Islamic world.

استضافت وزارة الثقافة والرياضة أمس بمقرها في الدفنة، الاحتفال بالأيام التعريفية لكل من المنظمة العربية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم «ألكسو»، والمنظمة الإسلامية للتربية والعلوم والثقافة «إيسيسكو»، وذلك بحضور ممثلين عن المنظمتين واللجنة الوطنية القطرية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم، ومسؤولي وزارة الثقافة والرياضة وعدد من الموظفين.
وتقام الأيام التعريفية بالمنظمتين على مدى يومين في قطر، حيث يعقد اليوم الثلاثاء في المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي «كتارا»، لقاء لممثلي المنظمتين للتعريف بجهودهما واستراتيجيات عملهما، وسبل التعاون والاستفادة بالبرامج التي تقدمها المنظمتان.
وتحدثت الدكتورة حمدة حسن السليطي الأمين العام للجنة الوطنية القطرية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم في كلمتها، عن علاقات التعاون والتنسيق التي تربط اللجنة بالمنظمات الدولية والإقليمية ومن بينها «ألكسو» و«إيسيسكو».
من جانبه، ألقى السيد محمد الغماري مدير أمانة المجلس التنفيذي والمؤتمر العام والمؤتمرات المتخصصة بمنظمة «إيسيسكو» كلمة المنظمة، التي أشاد فيها بالعلاقات المتميزة التي تربط بين المنظمة ودولة قطر، من خلال عدد من الوزارات والمؤسسات الوطنية والهيئات الخيرية والإنسانية القطرية في مختلف المجالات التربوية والثقافية والعلمية، مشيراً إلى أولوية تعزيز علاقات المنظمة مع اللجان الوطنية.
بدوره، تحدث السيد أمين الدهماني ممثلاً عن «ألكسو»، مثمّناً التعاون والتنسيق الدائم بين قطر والمنظمة، الأمر الذي يسهم في تكامل الجهود لإنجاح برامج المنظمة ومشروعاتها، ودفع مسيرة العمل العربي المشترك في المجالات التربوية والثقافية والعلمية.
وخصصت الجلسة التالية لتقديم تعريفات شاملة وموسعة لكل من اللجنة الوطنية القطرية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم، والتي تحدثت عنها تفصيلاً السيدة آمنة البوعينين استشاري المنظمات الدولية باللجنة.
كما تم خلال الجلسة التعريف بمنظمة «إيسيسكو» وأهدافها وأجهزتها وأنظمتها الداخلية ومجلس التنفيذ والمؤتمر العام ومؤتمرات الوزارة، فضلاً عن الحديث عن أبرز ملامح الخطط الاستراتيجية الجديدة 2020- 2029.
كما جرى الحديث خلال الجلسة عن منظمة «ألكسو»، والتأكيد على ضرورة تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين المنظمات الدولية واللجان الوطنية، وتعزيز التعاون بين «ألكسو» و«إيسيسكو» ومكتب التربية العربي لدول الخليج، لتحقيق الاستفادة القصوى من مشاريع المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية، فضلاً عن تبادل الخبرات والمعارف بين اللجان الوطنية والمنظمات الدولية.
