Qatar attends session of Arab League Council at level of permanent delegates

The State of Qatar participated in the 152nd Ordinary Session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of Permanent Delegates, which started yesterday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.
The Permanent Representative of Qatar to the Arab League, Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi, headed Qatar’s delegation to the preparatory session for the meeting of Arab foreign ministers scheduled for tomorrow.
The agenda of this session includes several topics, including the Palestinian issue and the Arab-Israeli conflict, supporting the budget of the State of Palestine and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, the report and recommendations of the Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in the Arab Host Countries at its 102nd session.
It will also review a report on the work of the main office and the regional office of the boycott of the Israeli entity, between the two sessions of the League Council (151-152), and another topic on Arab water security and theft of the Israeli entity of water in the occupied Arab territories, and the occupied Syrian Arab Golan.
Furthermore, the agenda includes items on solidarity with the Lebanese Republic, developments in Syria, Libya, and Yemen, the security of navigation and energy supplies in the Persian Gulf, the dangers of Israeli armaments on Arab national security and international peace, and the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone.
Moreover, the agenda includes topics on the Arab relations with international and regional groupings, supporting internally displaced persons in Arab countries and Iraqi in particular, international terrorism and ways to combat it, maintaining Arab national security, and developing the Arab anti-terrorism system.
شاركت دولة قطر في أعمال الدورة العادية الـ 152 لمجلس جامعة الدول العربية على مستوى المندوبين الدائمين والتي انطلقت اليوم، بمقر الأمانة العامة للجامعة العربية.
وترأس سعادة السفير إبراهيم بن عبد العزيز السهلاوي مندوب دولة قطر الدائم لدى جامعة الدول العربية وفد دولة قطر في أعمال الدورة التحضيرية لاجتماع وزراء الخارجية العرب المقرر بعد غد، الثلاثاء.
ويتضمن جدول أعمال هذه الدورة عددا من البنود، في مقدمتها القضية الفلسطينية والصراع العربي – الإسرائيلي ودعم موازنة دولة فلسطين وصمود الشعب الفلسطيني، وتقرير وتوصيات مؤتمر المشرفين على شؤون الفلسطينيين في الدول العربية المضيفة في دورته 102، وتقرير عن أعمال المكتب الرئيسي والمكتب الإقليمي لمقاطعة الكيان الإسرائيلي بين دورتي مجلس الجامعة 151-152، وموضوع آخر حول الأمن المائي العربي وسرقة الكيان الإسرائيلي للمياه في الأراضي العربية المحتلة، والجولان العربي السوري المحتل.
كما يتضمن جدول الأعمال، بنودا حول التضامن مع الجمهورية اللبنانية، وتطورات الأوضاع في سوريا، وتطورات الأوضاع في ليبيا، واليمن وأمن الملاحة وإمدادات الطاقة في منطقة الخليج العربي ومخاطر التسلح الإسرائيلي على الأمن القومي العربي والسلام الدولي: إنشاء المنطقة الخالية من الأسلحة النووية وغيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل في الشرق الاوسط.
ومن بين البنود الأخرى التي يتضمنها جدول الأعمال بند حول العلاقات العربية مع التجمعات الدولية والإقليمية، وآخر حول دعم النازحين داخليا في الدول العربية والنازحين العراقيين بشكل خاص، إضافة الى بند حول الإرهاب الدولي وسبل مكافحته،وصيانة الأمن القومي العربي، وتطوير المنظومة العربية لمكافحة الإرهاب.
