Education Ministry issues two guidebooks for students and parents

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education has issued two guidebooks for students and parents in conjunction with the beginning of the academic year 2019/2020.

This step was taken by the e-Learning System at the Curricula Department of the Ministry of Education to facilitate access to the Learning Management System (LMS) for the students and the parents. It should be noted that the department continuously seeks to educate all parties of the educational system about the projects applied in the schools. The two guidebooks are effective projects that have been launched for the new school year. Learning Management System (LMS) provided by the Ministry of Education, follows the modern international standards that allow the student, teacher, parent and the school principle to use and access its advantages to order to save time and effort and allow students to learn at any time any where.

With regard to the benefits, the system enables the student to identify the scientific and literary subjects, homework and grades, change personal data, and identify the most important updates and useful educational links and solve assignments and tests, and communicate with school teachers. While the parent can track their children by following up their attendance and their academic level and behavior and accessing school reports, communicate with the teachers, see the school announcements, and follow-up assignments and grades.

The teacher for his part can enter a lot of information such as modeling tests, classroom lessons, activities, exercises, questionnaires and other educational materials of all kinds and classifications by each class.

Meanwhile, the Ministry held an introductory meeting for the school principle on the periodic evaluation for 2019/2020 with the participation of 56 schools for boys and girls, organized by the School Evaluation Department.

During the meeting, a presentation was held on the criteria of periodic evaluation of schools in the basic areas of the educational process in terms of management and school leadership, mission, vision and priorities, monitoring and follow-up and professional development, health and safety, human and material resources, communication and community participation, education and learning and educational outcomes.

تزامناً مع انطلاق العام الأكاديمي 2019-2020، أصدر قسم التعليم الإلكتروني في إدارة المناهج ومصادر التعليم بوزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي «دليل الاستخدام السريع لولي الأمر» و»دليل الاستخدام السريع للطالب»، اللذين يندرجان تحت نظام إدارة التعلّم (LMS).

جاءت هذه الخطوة بهدف تسهيل دخول الطالب وولي الأمر على نظام إدارة التعلّم (LMS) بشكل مبسّط وسريع، حيث تميّز الدليل بوجود خطوات مرقّمة بالترتيب مع الصور الملوّنة؛ لتقديم أفضل الخدمات والتسهيلات على الطالب الذي يُعدّ محور العملية التعليمية، بمشاركة ولي أمره.

ودأب قسم التعليم الإلكتروني على العمل قُدماً من أجل توعية جميع أطراف المنظومة التعليمية بالمشاريع المطبّقة في المدارس الحكومية، حيث يُعدّ الدليل السريع أحد هذه المشاريع الفعّالة التي شُرع في تطبيقها بشكل مكثّف خلال انطلاق العام الدراسي الحالي. وبالنسبة لدليل الاستخدام السريع للطلاب، ففي الخطوة الأولى يُوجّه الطالب للدخول إلى أحد متصفحات البحث في الإنترنت، أو المسح الضوئي للرمز المتوافر داخل الدليل، ثم كتابة رابط الموقع الخاص بنظام «LMS»، وإدخال اسم المستخدم وكلمة المرور.

ويمكن للطالب من خلال نظام «LMS» الاستفادة من الخدمات المتوافرة داخله؛ مثل تغيير البيانات الشخصية، وإنشاء ملف إنجاز إلكتروني، ومتابعة التقدم الدراسي، والدخول إلى موقع الفصل، والتعرف على أهم التحديثات والروابط التعليمية المفيدة، وحل الواجبات والاختبارات، وأنشطة الفصل، بالإضافة إلى متابعة الإعلانات والأركان المدرسية والأنشطة اللاصفية، والتواصل مع معلمي المدرسة.

أما دليل الاستخدام السريع لولي الأمر، فيتعرف ولي الأمر من خلاله على الخطوات كافة المرقّمة تدريجياً؛ حتى يتمكن من الدخول إلى النظام ومتابعة ابنه، أو التبديل بين أبنائه الآخرين، والتواصل مع معلمي المواد الدراسية. كما يمكنه الاطلاع على مواقع المواد واختيار الفصول الدراسية، والاطلاع على إعلانات المدرسة، ومتابعة الواجبات، والدرجات، وسلوك الطالب، والحضور اليومي.
