Qatar’s Attorney General meets US officials
النائب العام يجتمع مع عدد من المسؤولين الأميركيين

Washington: Attorney General H E Dr Ali bin Fetais Al Marri, currently in Washington, has met with Attorney General of the United States William Barr.
Discussions during the meeting dealt with bilateral judicial cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Dr Al-Marri congratulated his counterpart on his recent appointment as US Attorney General, wishing him success and wished further constructive cooperation between the legal institutions in Qatar and the United States.
Dr Al Marri also met with Ambassador Nathan Sales, the State Department’s Coordinator for Counterterrorism, where a number of common issues were discussed.
He also met with US Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security James McMann and a number of his aides to review a number of issues and files of mutual interest.
Dr Al Marri also met with Director of the Counterterrorism Department of the US National Security Council Joe F.
The two sides exchanged views on a number of issues where Director of the Counterterrorism Department of the US National Security Council appreciated the efforts of the State of Qatar in combating terrorism.
The meetings were attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to the United States Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad Al Thani.
اجتمع سعادة الدكتور علي بن فطيس المري النائب العام، الذي يزور واشنطن حالياً، مع سعادة السيد وليام بار النائب العام في الولايات المتحدة الأميركية.
وتم خلال الاجتماع مناقشة ملفات التعاون القضائي الثنائي بين البلدين الصديقين.
وهنأ سعادة الدكتور المري نظيره على توليه منصب النائب العام الأميركي مؤخراً، متمنياً له التوفيق، كما تمنى مزيداً من التعاون البناء بين المؤسستين القانونيتين في قطر والولايات المتحدة الأميركية.
كما اجتمع سعادة الدكتور علي بن فطيس المري مع سعادة السفير نايثن سيلز منسق شؤون الاٍرهاب بوزارة الخارجية الأميركية، حيث تمت مناقشة عدد من القضايا المشتركة بين البلدين.
واجتمع سعادته أيضاً مع السيد جيمز ماك كامنت مساعد وزير الأمن القومي الأميركي وعدد من مساعديه، حيث تم استعراض عدد من المواضيع ومتابعة بعض الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
كما اجتمع سعادة النائب العام مع السيد جو فرانغسكون مدير إدارة مكافحة الاٍرهاب في مجلس الأمن القومي الأميركي.
وتبادل الجانبان وجهات النظر بشأن عدد من المواضيع والقضايا، حيث ثمن السيد فرانغسكون جهود دولة قطر في مجال محاربة الإرهاب.
حضر الاجتماعات سعادة الشيخ مشعل بن حمد آل ثاني سفير دولة قطر لدى الولايات المتحدة الأميركية.
