Daayan Municipality conducts inspection campaign on food outlets
تكثيف الحملات التفتيشية على المجمعات الاستهلاكية بالظعاين
As part of the preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, Daayan Municipality’s health control section has conducted an intensive inspection campaign on the food outlets and consumer goods complexes at its various parts.
There was a special focus on the restaurants, cafeterias, meat and fish shops and the fruit and vegetables sections to make sure that all the necessary food health and safety regulations are met.
The inspection covered the storage areas of food products and their transportation and handling processes to ensure that the workers and companies concerned are following the relevant rules. In addition, food samples were taken for laboratory tests to check their validity for human consumption.
In the meantime, Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality and the Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s (MME) Islands and Beaches Section has conducted a cleaning campaign at Al Thakhira Corniche and surrounding areas.
Further, Al Khor Harbour was completely cleaned as part of a comprehensive plan to maintain the marine environment in the country.
نفَّذ قسم الرقابة الصحية التابع لإدارة الرقابة البلدية ببلدية الظعاين حملة تفتيشية مكثفة على المجمعات الاستهلاكية ومحلات السوبرماركت بمختلف أنشطتها من الملاحم والأسماك وأقسام الخضار والفاكهة ، للتأكد من التزامها بالاشتراطات الصحية الخاصة بسلامة المواد الغذائية، وذلك في إطار الاستعدادات لشهر رمضان المبارك.
وشملت عمليات التفتيش مناطق عرض واستقبال وتخزين ونقل المواد الغذائية ، وفق وفق اشتراطات التخزين والنقل المقررة لكل نوع منها ، كما تم سحب عينات من بعض المنتجات الغذائية التي يزداد عليها الطلب في شهر رمضان المبارك للتأكد من صلاحيتها للاستهلاك الآدمي .
