Temporary Closure of Underpass at Al Gassar Interchange on Lusail Expressway
إغلاق مروري مؤقت لنفق عند تقاطع القصار بطريق لوسيل السريع
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’, announces a temporary road closure of an underpass at Al Gassar Interchange for road users coming from Al Khafji Street and heading towards the Pearl and Lusail via Lusail Expressway. Designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this closure will be implemented on Friday, 29 March 2019 for a duration of one week to allow for maintenance works in the underpass.
During this period, road users coming from Al Khafji Street and heading towards Lusail or the Pearl, will be required to continue straight on the main bridge flyover and make a U-turn at the end of Al Khafji Street then use the first exit towards Lusail Expressway to reach their destinations, as shown in the attached map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic change and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 80 kph along the route, and to follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق مروري مؤقت لنفق عند تقاطع القصار أمام الحركة المرورية القادمة من شارع الخفجي والمتجهة نحو اللؤلؤة ولوسيل عبر طريق لوسيل السريع اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة الموافق 29 مارس 2019 لمدة أسبوع واحد وذلك بهدف استكمال تنفيذ أعمال طبقة الأسفلت النهائية بالنفق.
وخلال فترة التغيير المروري الذي يأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، سيتعين على مستخدمي الطريق القادمين من شارع الخفجي في اتجاه لوسيل واللؤلؤة استخدام الجسر العلوي الرئيسي ومتابعة سيرهم حتى نهاية شارع الخفجي، ثم الدوران إلى الخلف من أجل العودة إلى تقاطع القصار والانعطاف يميناً باتجاه طريق لوسيل السريع وصولاً للوسيل واللؤلؤة، كما هو مبين في الخريطة المرفقة.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموح بها في الطرق البديلة عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
