Sanea Bus begins school trip to teach innovation
حافلة «صانع» تبدأ جولتها في زيارة المدارس الابتدائية والنموذجية
Doha: The Sanea Bus, a mobile fab lab visited Juwairiya Bint Al Harith Primary School for Girls yesterday on its first trip under an initiative to foster a culture of making and discovery for students.
The trip was organised by the School Affairs Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in collaboration with IbTECHar Digital Solutions company to utilize the Sanea Bus to introduce school students the basics of making and innovation.
The learning trips will be held Under the supervision of the Information Technology Department of the Department of Educational Guidance and the Department of School Programs and Activities at the Department of School Affairs.
“This move comes within the framework of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education’s keenness to support gifted and creative students and to enhance their abilities to innovate, manufacture and design, and to provide an appropriate opportunity to transform their ideas into concrete creations,” said Fatima Al Sulaiti, Principal of Juwairiya Bint Al Harith Primary School for Girls.
She said that the school was keen to support students who are excellent in scientific projects and activities and provide them opportunity to implement their projects through their participation in scientific competitions.
Lami Abuita, an academic representative at the Juwairiya Bint Al Harith Primary School for Girls, pointed out that a bus manufactured consists of a complete laboratory equipped with 3D printers, milling machines, electronic kits and other tools.
She said that the students of the school were taught how to connect the electricity and the work of a circuit of electricity to help them to apply the exercise (bell) in science, and how to connect that circuit using the battery.
The academic representative said that the school supports all students in various subjects, not only highlighting a particular skill or talent, all the talents are important for the school.
توجهت حافلة (صانع) في جولتها الأولى صباح أمس إلى مدرسة جويرية بنت الحارث الابتدائية للبنات، حيث قامت إدارة شؤون المدارس في وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي بالتعاون مع شركة ابتكار للحلول الرقمية للاستفادة من حافلة «صانع»، لتعريف طلبة المدارس بخطوات الصنع والابتكار تحت إشراف قسم تكنولوجيا المعلومات بإدارة التوجيه التربوي وقسم البرامج والأنشطة المدرسية بإدارة شؤون المدارس. تأتي هذه الخطوة في إطار حرص وزارة التعليم والتعليم العالي على دعم الطلبة الموهوبين والمبدعين وتعزيز قدراتهم على الابتكار والصنع والتصميم وإتاحة الفرصة الملائمة لتحويل أفكارهم إلى إبداعات ملموسة. وفي هذا الشأن، قالت السيدة فاطمة السليطي مديرة مدرسة جويرية بنت الحارث الابتدائية للبنات: إن مدرستنا تسعى دائماً إلى دعم الطالبات المتفوقات علمياً من خلال المشاريع والأنشطة العلمية، وتتيح لهن فرصة تطبيق المشاريع من خلال مشاركتهن في المسابقات العلمية، حيث نهدف إلى تعزيز تطبيق أفكار الطالبات وتحويلها إلى منتوجات ملموسة على أرض الواقع المدرسي.
