Qatari, Turkish navies conduct joint drill

Doha: The Qatari Amiri Naval Forces carried out a joint drill named PASSEX with the Turkish frigate (TCGGOKCEADA).

The naval drill included several exercises: the Maneuvering EX, the joint exercise with the Qatari Amiri Air Forces Helicopter Wing, the SURFACE EX, and the fire fighting and damage inventory EX.

The aim of this exercise is to increase combat efficiency, readiness and exchange of experience between the Qatari and Turkish navies.

نفذت القوات البحرية الأميرية القطرية تمرين العبور «PASSEX» المشترك مع الفرقاطة التركية «TCGGOKCEADA».

تضمن التمرين البحري عدة تمارين، منها: تمرين المناورات والتشكيلات البحرية (Maneuvering EX)، وتمرين مشترك مع القوات الجوية الأميرية القطرية جناح الهيلوكوبتر، وتمرين البلاغات السطحية (SURFACE EX)، وتمرين مكافحة الحريق وحصر العطب (‏FIRE FIGHTING And DAMAGE Control)، ويهدف هذا التمرين إلى رفع الكفاءة القتالية والجاهزية، وتبادل الخبرات بين البحريتين القطرية والتركية.;
