MCI issued 85 licences for discount prices in January

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MCI) has released its monthly report on special licenses issued in January 2019.

The report said 85 licences were issued for discounted prices including 82 licenses for discounts, one license for festivals and two licenses for final liquidation.

The report also indicated that a total of 395 licenses were issued in January including Swipe and Win; prize draws; special offers and promotional offers. 85 promotional offer licenses were granted for companies selling goods in malls and retail shops while 288 licences were granted for special offers including new prices; buy one, get one for free; and buy one, get the second one for half the price. Two licences for swipe and win were also awarded in January while 20 licences for prize draws were issued.

بلغ عدد التراخيص الممنوحة من قبل وزارة التجارة والصناعة للبيع عن طريق الأسعار المخفضة (التنزيلات والمهرجانات والتصفية النهائية)، خلال يناير الماضي، 85 ترخيصاً، شملت 82 رخصة للتنزيلات، ورخصة واحدة للمهرجانات، ورخصتين للتصفية النهائية. وأشار التقرير الشهري عن التراخيص النوعية لشهر يناير 2019، إلى أن عدد تراخيص العروض -التي تشمل: (امسح واربح – السحب على جوائز – العروض الخاصة – العروض الترويجية)- بلغ في شهر يناير الماضي 395 ترخيصاً، حيث بلغ عدد التراخيص الممنوحة للعروض الترويجية 85 ترخيصاً للشركات على السلع بالمراكز والمحالّ التجارية، في حين بلغ عدد التراخيص الممنوحة للعروض الخاصة 288 ترخيصاً، تنوعت بين أسعار جديدة، واشترِ قطعة واحصل على الأخرى مجاناً، واشترِ قطعة واحصل على الأخرى بنصف السعر، وغيرها.

هذا، وقد أشار التقرير إلى أن عدد التراخيص الممنوحة لعروض «امسح واربح» خلال شهر يناير الماضي بلغ رخصتين، بينما مُنحت 20 ترخيصاً لعروض «السحب على جوائز».;
