Qatar, Turkey discuss relations and ways of enhancing them in various fields

The President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah at the Presidential Palace in Ankara yesterday. The meeting discussed the bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in various military areas, in addition to the latest regional developments. The Turkish Defence Minister hosted a luncheon banquet in honour for the Deputy Prime Minister. The meeting and the luncheon banquet were attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to Turkey, Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi, and the Military Attache at the Qatari Embassy in Ankara, Brigadier General Mohammed bin Rashid Al Shahwani.

استقبل فخامة الرئيس رجب طيب أردوغان رئيس الجمهورية التركية الشقيقة مساء اليوم، سعادة الدكتور خالد بن محمد العطية نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدولة لشؤون الدفاع في القصر الرئاسي في العاصمة التركية أنقرة.

ونقل سعادة نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الدولة لشؤون الدفاع خلال المقابلة تحيات حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى لأخيه فخامة الرئيس التركي وتمنيات سموه له بموفور الصحة والعافية.

كما جرى خلال المقابلة بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الشقيقين وسبل تعزيزها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات إضافة إلى مناقشة آخر المستجدات في المنطقة;
