Amir presented with Ecuadorian National Order of Merit
رئيس الإكوادور يمنح صاحب السمو وسام الاستحقاق الوطني الإكوادوري

Quito: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani was presented with the National Order of Merit by President Lenin Moreno of the Republic of Ecuador at the Presidential “Carondelet Palace” on Monday evening.
The Ecuador President said that this Merit is the highest award to be presented to heads of state, and it is a tribute to the good relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, which HE described as fruitful and not new.
He further said that the Ecuadorian government seeks to strengthen the bonds of the strategic relations between the two countries, expressing aspiration to expand them in the future, especially that the doors of Ecuador are open to Qatari partners.
The President paid tribute to the State of Qatar, saying that Qatar is a model for the States that are fighting for a more equitable world based on rights and principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations.
For his part, HH the Amir thanked the President for this honour which shows the strong relations and mutual trust between the two countries, expressing ambition to develop and promote them in various fields.
The honouring was attended by their Excellencies members of the accompanying official delegation.
On the Ecuadorian side, it was attended by a number of their Excellencies the ministers and senior officials.

مُنح حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وسام الاستحقاق الوطني، من قبل فخامة الرئيس لينين مورينو رئيس جمهورية الإكوادور بالقصر الرئاسي “كارونديليت ” مساء اليوم.
وأوضح فخامة الرئيس أن هذا الوسام هو أعلى وسام يمنح لرؤساء الدول، وهو تكريم يدل على حسن علاقات الصداقة والتعاون بين البلدين، والتي وصفها بالمثمرة وليست بالوليدة ولا الحديثة، مشيرا الى سعي الحكومة الإكوادورية الى تعزيز أواصر هذه العلاقات التي تعد علاقات استراتيجية وعن تطلعه في توسيعها في المستقبل خاصة وأن أبواب الاكوادور مفتوحة للأصدقاء القطريين.
وأشاد فخامته بدولة قطر قائلا: ” إن قطر مثال ومرجع للدول التي تحارب من أجل عالمٍ أكثر إنصافاً استناداً الى الحقوق و المبادئ التي أقيم عليها ميثاق الأمم المتحدة”.
من جانبه، شكر سمو الأمير فخامة الرئيس على هذا التكريم الذي يدل على العلاقات القوية والثقة المتبادلة بين البلدين، معربا عن طموحه لتنميتها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات.
حضر التكريم أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق.
وحضرها من جانب الإكوادور عدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين.
