One-Hour Diversion on Southbound Carriageway of Al Shamal Road between Rasheeda Interchange and Al Khor Interchange
إغلاق لمدة ساعة لطريق الشمال بين تقاطع رشيدة وتقاطع الخور في اتجاه الدوحة
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ will temporarily close 5.5 kilometres of the southbound lanes on Al Shamal Road between Rasheeda Interchange and Al Khor Interchange in order to complete the installation of signage gantries on Orbital Road.
The diversion, designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, will be implemented on Friday 10 August 2018 and will be in place from 06:00 am to 07:00 am (one hour).
As shown on the attached map, road users travelling southbound along Al Shamal Road heading to Doha will be required take Exit 40 at Rasheeda Interchange and follow the diversion signs to get on to Farms Road. They must then continue on and cross over the bridge at Megareen Bakheela Interchange leading to Al Mazrouah Road and then take the slip road to the right at Al Khor Interchange to join Al Shamal Road and continue their journey towards Doha.
The Public Works Authority will install the new guiding signage, requesting all road users to abide by the speed limit at 80 kph and follow the new signs for their safety.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” بإغلاق مؤقت لطريق الشمال في اتجاه الدوحة لمسافة 5.5 كيلومتر بين تقاطع رشيدة وتقاطع الخور بهدف استكمال أعمال تركيب اللوحات الإرشادية الخاصة بالطريق المداري، حيث سيتم إغلاق الحركة المرورية بالطريق الرئيسي يوم الجمعة 10 أغسطس 2018 ولمدة ساعة واحدة من الساعة السادسة صباحاً حتى السابعة صباحاً.
وخلال فترة التحويلة المرورية، والتي تأتي بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، يستطيع القادمون من الشمال في اتجاه الدوحة الانعطاف يميناً عند تقاطع رشيدة المؤدي إلى طريق المزارع ومواصلة السير عبر جسر تقاطع مقارين بخيلة بالطريق المداري والمؤدي إلى طريق المزروعة ثم الانعطاف يميناً عند تقاطع الخور وصولاً لطريق الشمال، وذلك وفقاً للخريطة المرفقة.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
