QatarEnergy Becomes Official Partner for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

Doha: QatarEnergy has joined FIFA as an Official Partner of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held in Qatar between Nov. 21-Dec. 18, 2022.
This partnership is the second by QatarEnergy since teaming with FIFA last November as an Official Partner for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2021.
Commenting on this occasion, HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QatarEnergy Eng. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi said, “QatarEnergy is pleased to partner with FIFA again, this time in support of the iconic FIFA World Cup, which will be held in Qatar and the Middle East for the first time ever. This partnership is a reflection of QatarEnergys continued support of the sports, and of football in particular as the central attraction of the sporting world. We look forward to a very successful competition and to being part of the effort to welcome the world to Qatar.”
On his part, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said “QatarEnergy is joining FIFA in this important FIFA World Cup year, and we are delighted to welcome them, as they share our excitement and enthusiasm for this first FIFA World Cup organized in the Arab world.”
“This years tournament will expand footballs reach and shine a light on the region, bringing different cultures from across the globe together in Qatar to enjoy the best football in the world in stunning state-of-the-art venues.” he added.
The FIFA World Cup will be held across eight state-of-the-art stadiums, which are spread out across Qatar.

الدوحة: أعلنت قطر للطاقة يوم أمس، عن انضمامها إلى الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم /فيفا/ كشريك رسمي في رعاية بطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، والتي ستقام في دولة قطر في الفترة من 21 نوفمبر إلى 18 ديسمبر 2022.
وتعد اتفاقية الشراكة هذه الثانية التي توقعها قطر للطاقة مع فيفا، منذ رعاية بطولة كأس العرب FIFA قطر 2021 في شهر نوفمبر الماضي.
وقال سعادة المهندس سعد بن شريدة الكعبي، وزير الدولة لشؤون الطاقة، العضو المنتدب والرئيس التنفيذي لقطر للطاقة إن هذه الشراكة تعكس الدعم المستمر للرياضة ولكرة القدم على وجه الخصوص، باعتبارها اللعبة الأكثر شعبية في عالم الرياضة.
وأضاف نتطلع إلى بطولة ناجحة جدا وإلى أن نكون جزءا من الجهود المبذولة، للترحيب بالعالم في قطر.
من جهته، رحب السيد جياني إنفانتينو، رئيس الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم بانضمام قطر للطاقة إلى /فيفا/ في هذه السنة بالغة الأهمية، وبمشاركتها للاتحاد الدولي حماس النسخة الأولى من كأس العالم FIFA التي يتم تنظيمها في الوطن العربي.
وقال إن البطولة ستسعى إلى توسيع شعبية كرة القدم وتسليط الضوء على هذه المنطقة، حيث ستجتمع مختلف ثقافات العالم في دولة قطر للاستمتاع بأفضل المواهب الكروية العالمية في أماكن مذهلة ومن أعلى المستويات.
وستقام بطولة كأس العالم لكرة القدم في ثمانية ملاعب، أنشئت على أحدث طراز ومنتشرة في جميع أنحاء قطر.
