Doha: The registration for the first phase of ticket applications for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 by lottery system will close on Tuesday after witnessing an unprecedented global turnout.
FIFA called on fans to quickly submit applications through the lottery system, which results will be announced after Mar. 8.
On Tuesday, the window for ticket application via the FIFA website will close at 1:00 pm Mecca time. This is an opportunity for everyone to try their luck and apply in those early stages, saving the trouble of searching for tickets as the World Cup timing approaches. The percentage of tickets allocated to this first stage constitutes one-third of the total tickets, which is over 3 million tickets.
This opportunity constitutes a greater chance of obtaining a seat during the World Cup matches rather than the stages of applying with priority reservation. The first stage witnessed a large turnout in which the seats ran out hours after its launch.
By submitting a reservation request, the chances of obtaining tickets at nominal prices for Qatari fans will increase, as the ticket price is 40 Qatari riyals, the cheapest since the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
The first stage of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 started on Jan.19. All applications will have equal opportunities to purchase tickets, whether applicants on the first day, the last day, or any time in between. The process for assigning tickets will begin after the application period ends.

الدوحة: يغلق يوم غد /الثلاثاء/، باب التسجيل للمرحلة الأولى لتقديم طلبات حجز التذاكر لكأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 بنظام القرعة بعد أن شهدت إقبالاً عالميا منقطع النظير بعد أن دعا الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) الجماهير للمسارعة بتقديم الطلبات بنظام القرعة، والتي ستعلن عن نتيجتها بعد الثامن من مارس المقبل.
وستغلق نافذة طلبات الحجز عبر الموقع الإلكتروني للفيفا الباب يوم غد عند الواحدة ظهراً بتوقيت مكة المكرمة، فيما تعد فرصة للجميع لتجربة حظوظهم والتقديم في تلك المراحل المبكرة بما يوفر عناء البحث عن التذاكر مع الاقتراب من توقيت المونديال حيث تشكل النسبة المخصصة لتلك المرحلة ثلث إجمالي التذاكر والتي تزيد عن 3 مليون تذكرة.
وتشكل هذه الفرصة مساحة أكبر للحصول على مقعد خلال مباريات المونديال عوضا عن مراحل التقديم بأسبقية الحجز والتي تشهد إقبالا كبيرا تنفد فيه المقاعد بعد ساعات من إطلاقها، فمن خلال تقديم طلب الحجز تزيد فرص الحصول على التذاكر المخصصة للجماهير القطرية بأسعار رمزية، حيث تبلغ سعر التذكرة 40 ريالا قطرياً، الأرخص على الإطلاق منذ مونديال إيطاليا 1990.
وكانت المرحلة الأولى من مبيعات تذاكر كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 انطلقت في 19 يناير الماضي، وستحظى جميع الطلبات بفرص متساوية في شراء التذاكر، سواء مقدمي الطلبات في اليوم الأول أو في اليوم الأخير أو في أي وقت بينهما، حيث تبدأ عملية تخصيص التذاكر بعد انتهاء فترة تقديم الطلبات.
