Doha: Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) has launched an updated set of smart solutions for monitoring heat stress and work safety, HUMIDEX, in order to meet the new health standards in the State of Qatar, and to better cover the changing needs of the market.
HUMIDEX is a smart platform for monitoring heat stress and the safety of the work environment, developed by QMIC to help protect people working in harsh and extreme environmental conditions.
The platform automatically alerts safety officials when working conditions reach dangerous levels where hot weather and high humidity can put significant heat pressure on workers’ health.
