OVER 100 million Android users were victims of a nasty piece of malware, spread via hundreds of apps on the Google Play Store, that signed unsuspecting people up to expensive subscription services without their knowledge.
Android users in 70 countries fell victim to the con after downloading compromised apps that spread the scam from the official Google Play Store.

قالت وسائل إعلام بريطانية إنه تمت إزالة 21 تطبيق اندرويد من متجر “غوغل بلاي”، إلى جانب مواقع التصيد وخدمات الاحتيال المصاحبة.
وتضم القائمة – وفق موقع اكسبريس البريطاني – التطبيقات التالية :

ودعا الموقع البريطاني إلى إلغاء أي اشتراكات مشبوهة، والتأكد من حذف التطبيق الخبيث من جهازك كليا.
ووقع أكثر من 100 مليون من مستخدمي “أندرويد” ضحايا برنامج خبيث، انتشر عبر مئات التطبيقات على متجر “غوغل بلاي”، للحصول على خدمات اشتراك باهظة الثمن دون علمهم.
