First Phase of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Ticket Sales Kicks Off

Doha: The first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will be held at the end of this year, kicks off on Wednesday.

Various sets of tickets are available with the aim of attracting football fans from the region and the world to enjoy the matches of the upcoming tournament.

The first phase begins at 1:00 pm today, Doha time, and ends on Feb. 8 at 1:00 pm, during which fans will have the opportunity to submit their requests to book tickets through the website: qatar2022.qa/tickets.

All applicants will have an equal opportunity to purchase tickets, whether on the first day, the last day or any time in between, as the ticket allocation process begins after the application period ends.

If requests exceed the available numbers of match tickets for fans from inside or outside Qatar, the tickets will be allocated to the applicants using the lottery system, and then all those eligible for obtaining their requests, in full or in part, as well as those who are not eligible to purchase tickets, will be notified of the results of their requests by Tuesday, March 8, as well as providing details of the next steps and informing them of the last date for paying the value of the tickets allocated to the fans.

In light of the rules followed by FIFA in the sale of tickets for the previous editions of the World Cup in the years 2010, 2014 and 2018, the residents of the host country benefit from special prices for tickets for the fourth category, which starts from QAR 40 for the matches of the next edition of the FIFA World Cup.

In a statement about the launch of the first phase of ticket sales for the tournament, CEO of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Nasser Al Khater stressed that Qatar’s hosting of the first edition of the tournament in the Middle East and the Arab world constitutes an exceptional event that celebrates the passion of the peoples of the region and the world, pointing out that the country, along with the championship partners, looks forward to welcoming the fans in a celebration that attracts the attention of the world.

Al Khater said that everyone is looking forward to the launch of the FIFA World Cup, welcoming the fans in Qatar to a global football celebration, giving everyone the opportunity to express their passion for football, discovering a new culture and enjoying experiences in Qatar and the region for the first time.

Fans from inside Qatar can pay for match tickets exclusively using Visa cards, while Visa cards and others can be used to pay for tickets for fans from outside Qatar. Visa cards are the preferred method of payment for the purchase of fan tickets for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

It is expected that there will be a second opportunity to purchase tickets for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 before the World Cup draw scheduled for Friday, April 1, according to a first-come-first-served system. More information about this stage of sales will be available at a later time.

More stages of the sale of match tickets will be announced after the date of the tournament draw, and it will include additional groups, including tickets for fans of a specific team, allowing the match to be attended by the fans of the same team, and others for fans wishing to reserve a seat in one of the possible matches for their favorite team.

During the group stage, fans will have the opportunity to attend more than one match in one day, thanks to the close distances between the eight stadiums that will host the tournament.

Fans will be able to apply for tickets for more than one match in one day during the ticket sales phase following the lottery.

Based on the keenness of the State of Qatar and FIFA to provide the best possible experience, it was decided to ease the conditions related to buying tickets that were witnessed in previous versions of the World Cup, as one fan will be able to purchase up to 60 tickets throughout the tournament, with a maximum of six tickets per match.

Fans of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be required to show the Hay’ya Card (Fan ID) which is a mandatory identification card for fans to enter the State of Qatar. It entitles its holder to enter the stadiums upon presentation of the match ticket, and also allows fans to use public transportation for free on match days, in addition to enjoying a package of benefits and services that will enrich the experience of the tournament fans.

الدوحة: انطلقت الأمس المرحلة الأولى من مبيعات تذاكر كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022 التي تقام منافساتها نهاية العام الجاري.

وتتوفر مجموعات متنوعة من التذاكر، بهدف استقطاب جمهور كرة القدم من المنطقة والعالم، للاستمتاع بمباريات البطولة المرتقبة.

وتبدأ المرحلة الأولى عند الواحدة من ظهر اليوم بتوقيت الدوحة، وتختتم في 8 من فبراير المقبل عند الواحدة ظهراً، وتتاح خلالها الفرصة أمام المشجعين لتقديم طلباتهم لحجز التذاكر عبر الموقع الإلكتروني : qatar2022.qa/tickets.

وستحظى جميع الطلبات بفرص متساوية في شراء التذاكر، سواء مقدمي الطلبات في اليوم الأول أو في اليوم الأخير أو في أي وقت بينهما، حيث تبدأ عملية تخصيص التذاكر بعد انتهاء فترة تقديم الطلبات.

وفي حال تجاوزت الطلبات الأعداد المتوفرة من تذاكر المباريات للمشجعين من داخل قطر أو خارجها، سيجري تخصيص التذاكر لمقدمي الطلبات بنظام القرعة، ثم إخطار جميع المؤهلين بالحصول على طلباتهم، كاملة أو جزئياً، وكذلك غير المؤهلين لشراء التذاكر، بنتيجة طلباتهم بحلول يوم /الثلاثاء/ 8 مارس المقبل، مع الإفادة بتفاصيل الخطوات التالية، وإعلامهم بآخر موعد لدفع قيمة التذاكر المخصصة للمشجعين.

وفي ضوء القواعد التي اتبعها الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) في بيع تذاكر النسخ السابقة من كأس العالم في أعوام 2010 و2014 و2018، يستفيد المشجعون من سكان الدولة المستضيفة للبطولة من أسعار خاصة لتذاكر الفئة الرابعة، والتي تبدأ من 40 ريال قطري لمباريات النسخة المقبلة من المونديال.

وفي تصريح له حول انطلاق أول مرحلة من مبيعات تذاكر البطولة أكد السيد ناصر الخاطر، الرئيس التنفيذي لبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، أن استضافة قطر لأول نسخة من البطولة في الشرق الأوسط والعالم العربي تشكل حدثاً استثنائياً يحتفي بشغف شعوب المنطقة والعالم بالساحرة المستديرة، لافتاً إلى تطلع الدولة جنباً إلى جنب مع شركاء البطولة للترحيب بالمشجعين في احتفالية تستقطب أنظار العالم.

وأضاف: “نترقب جميعاً انطلاق المونديال والترحيب بالمشجعين على أرض قطر في احتفالية كروية عالمية، وإتاحة الفرصة أمام الجميع للتعبير عن شغفهم برياضة كرة القدم، واستكشاف ثقافة جديدة والاستمتاع لأول مرة بتجارب لا مثيل لها في قطر والمنطقة”.

وبإمكان المشجعين من داخل قطر دفع قيمة تذاكر المباريات حصرياً باستخدام بطاقات “فيزا”، بينما يمكن استخدام بطاقات “فيزا” وغيرها لسداد قيمة التذاكر للمشجعين من خارج دولة قطر. وتعد بطاقات “فيزا” الطريقة المفضلة لسداد المدفوعات الخاصة بشراء تذاكر المشجعين لبطولة كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022.

ومن المتوقع إتاحة فرصة ثانية لشراء تذاكر كأس العالم قطر 2022 قبل موعد سحب قرعة كأس العالم المقررة يوم /الجمعة/ الأول من أبريل المقبل، وذلك وفق نظام أسبقية الشراء. وسيتوفر في وقت لاحق مزيد من المعلومات حول هذه المرحلة من المبيعات.

وسيعلن عن المزيد من مراحل بيع تذاكر المباريات بعد موعد سحب قرعة البطولة، وستشمل مجموعات إضافية من بينها تذاكر مشجعي منتخب محدد، وتتيح حضور المباراة ضمن صفوف مشجعي نفس المنتخب، وأخرى للمشجعين الراغبين في حجز مقعد في إحدى المباريات المحتملة لمنتخبهم المفضل خلال مرحلة خروج المغلوب، بما فيها المباراة النهائية.

وسيحظى المشجعون خلال مرحلة المجموعات بفرصة حضور أكثر من مباراة في يوم واحد، بفضل تقارب المسافات بين الاستادات الثمانية التي ستشهد منافسات البطولة.

وسيتمكن المشجعون من تقديم طلباتهم لشراء تذاكر أكثر من مباراة في يوم واحد خلال مرحلة بيع التذاكر التي تلي إجراء القرعة.

وانطلاقاً من حرص دولة قطر والاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (الفيفا) على تقديم أفضل تجربة ممكنة تضمن استمتاع الجماهير بالطبيعة متقاربة المسافات، التي يتميز بها المونديال، تقرر تخفيف الشروط المتعلقة بشراء التذاكر والتي شهدتها النسخ السابقة من المونديال، حيث سيتمكن المشجع الواحد من شراء ما يصل إلى 60 تذكرة طوال منافسات البطولة، وبحد أقصى ست تذاكر لكل مباراة.

وتشهد بطولة كأس العالم قطر 2022 اعتماد بطاقة هيّا (بطاقة المشجع)، وهي بطاقة تعريف إلزامية لدخول المشجعين إلى دولة قطر، وتخول حاملها دخول الاستادات عند إبرازها إلى جانب تذكرة المباراة، كما تتيح للمشجعين استخدام وسائل النقل العام مجاناً في أيام المباريات، بالإضافة إلى الاستمتاع بباقة من المزايا والخدمات التي من شأنها إثراء تجربة جمهور البطولة.
