Morocco Suspends Flights with France from Sunday

Rabat: The Moroccan authorities decided to suspend flights with France as of Sunday evening.
The suspension of flights was scheduled to take effect Friday but was postponed to Sunday to facilitate returning of Moroccan citizens and foreigners residing in Morocco, MAP reported.
The Moroccan inter-ministerial Committee in charge of coordinating international travel during the COVID-19 pandemic said that the decision to suspend flights between Morocco and France comes to preserve the gains made in the field of pandemic measures and confront the deteriorating health situation in some European neighboring countries.
The committee did not specify a date for the end of the suspension of flights.

الرباط: قررت السلطات المغربية تعليق رحلات الطيران مع فرنسا اعتبارا من مساء يوم الاحد المقبل .
وذكرت وكالة الأنباء المغربية في وقت متأخر من مساء / الخميس/ أن تعليق الرحلات كان مقررا أن يسرى اعتبارا من يوم الجمعة ، وتم تأجيله إلى يوم الاحد “جاء لتسهيل عملية عودة المواطنين المغاربة والأجانب المقيمين بالمغرب”.
وأعلنت اللجنة المغربية بين الوزارية للتنسيق وتتبع لوائح الأسفار الدولية خلال جائحة كوفيد-19 بأن قرار تعليق الرحلات الجوية بين المغرب وفرنسا يأتي من أجل الحفاظ على المكاسب تحققت في مجال تدابير جائحة /كوفيد-19/ ، ومواجهة تدهور الوضع الصحي في بعض بلدان الجوار الأوروبي.
ولم تحدد اللجنة موعدا لانتهاء تعليق الرحلات.
