PAM Accepts Qatar’s Request for Permanent Membership
قبول طلب العضوية الدائمة لدولة قطر في برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط

Rome: The Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) accepted the application for permanent membership of the State of Qatar, represented by the Shura Council, and decided to raise the request for approval by the parliamentary assembly to be held during the first quarter of 2022.
This came at the conclusion of the PAM Bureau Meeting, which was held in the Italian capital, Rome, with the participation of the Shura Council.
HE member of the Shura Council Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al Subaie represented the Council in the meeting. His Excellency delivered the State of Qatar’s speech before the members of the Parliament, expressing thanks and gratitude of the Shura Council for accepting its request to be a permanent member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean.
HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al Subaie stressed the desire of the Shura Council to increase joint cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in the future.

روما: صادق برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط على قبول طلب العضوية الدائمة لدولة قطر ممثلة بمجلس الشورى في برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط، وقرر رفع الطلب للاعتماد من الجمعية البرلمانية المزمع عقدها خلال الربع الأول من العام المقبل.
جاء ذلك في ختام أعمال اجتماع هيئة مكتب برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط الذي عقد في العاصمة الإيطالية روما، بمشاركة مجلس الشورى.
وقد مثل المجلس في أعمال الاجتماع سعادة السيد عبدالله بن ناصر بن تركي السبيعي عضو مجلس الشورى، حيث القى سعادته كلمة دولة قطر أمام أعضاء مجلس البرلمان، معرباً فيها عن شكر وامتنان مجلس الشورى على قبول طلبه ليكون عضوا دائما في برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط.
وأكد سعادة السيد عبدالله بن ناصر بن تركي السبيعي، على رغبة مجلس الشورى في زيادة افق التعاون المشترك مع برلمان البحر الأبيض المتوسط في المستقبل.
