Afforestation begins in the second phase of the road project

The Public Works Authority announced the start of afforestation works in the second phase of the Roads and Infrastructure Project in West Muaither (Al Manaseer) – Package 2, which will extend until the end of October. This phase provides 45 trees and 646 square meters of green space in addition to irrigation lines.
The project, upon the completion of the project’s seven phases, will provide 7,537 square meters of green spaces and plant 450 trees, in addition to implementing 56 km of joint paths for pedestrians and bicycles, 22 km of roads, 6.3 km of irrigation lines and 61.5 km of rainwater drainage lines. The Public Works Authority said in a series of tweets on its Twitter account.

أعلنت هيئة الأشغال العامة انطلاق أعمال التشجير بالمرحلة الثانية من مشروع الطرق والبنية التحتية في غرب معيذر المناصير (الحزمة 2) والتي ستمتد حتى نهاية أكتوبر. توفر هذه المرحلة 45 شجرة و646 متر مربع من المساحات الخضراء بالإضافة لخطوط الري.
وقالت الهيئة في سلسلة تغريدات على حسابها بموقع تويتر إن المشروع سيوفر عند انتهاء مراحله السبعة 7,537 متر مربع من المساحات الخضراء وزراعة 450 شجرة، إلى جانب تنفيذ 56 كم من المسارات المشتركة للمشاة والدراجات الهوائية، و22 كم من الطرق و6.3 كم من خطوط الري و61.5 كم من خطوط صرف مياه الأمطار.
