Doha: The General Directorate of Passports, in cooperation with the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Interior, organized an introductory seminar on “General Passport Management Services in the Application of Metrash2 and Services of Qatar Visa Centers Abroad” via Zoom, in which a large number of corporate officials, public and private institutions and community leaders participated.
Lieutenant-Colonel Tariq Issa Al-Aqeedi, Public Relations and Media Officer at the General Directorate of Passports, pointed out the role of MOI in providing electronic services, which save the public time and effort and can be implemented without resorting to paper transactions through Metrash2 electronic services, according to a series of tweets on the ministry’s Twitter account.
For his part, First Lieutenant Faris Mubarak Al-Dosari from the Support Services Department for Recruitment gave an introductory presentation on the services of Qatar visa centers abroad, and reviewed the stages of recruitment procedures through the centers that were opened in some countries: (India, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and the Philippines).
He explained that Qatar visa centers abroad are working to finalize the procedures for recruiting expatriate workers from outside the country through approved centers that facilitate recruitment procedures and protect the rights of expatriates, and avoid cases of the expatriate returning to his country in the event of ineligibility, in addition to starting work as soon as the expatriate arrives in the country.
He also stressed that these centers operate according to an integrated electronic system to implement medical examination procedures, capture fingerprints and vital data, and sign work contracts for expatriates outside the country, under the supervision and follow-up of the concerned authorities inside the country.

الدوحة: نظمت الإدارة العامة للجوازات بالتعاون مع إدارة العلاقات العامة بوزارة الداخلية ندوة تعريفية حول “خدمات الإدارة العامة للجوازات في تطبيق مطراش2 وخدمات مراكز تأشيرات قطر في الخارج ” عبر منصة زوم، شارك فيها عدد كبير من مسؤولي الشركات والهيئات والمؤسسات العامة والخاصة ورؤساء الجاليات.
وأشار المقدم طارق عيسى العقيدي ضابط العلاقات العامة والإعلام بالإدارة العامة للجوازات الى دور وزارة الدخلية في تقديم الخدمات الإلكترونية والتي توفر على الجمهور الوقت والجهد ويمكن تنفيذها دون اللجوء للمعاملات الورقية عن طريق الخدمات الإلكترونية لمطراش2 وفق سلسلة تغريدات لحسابة الوزارة بموقع تويتر.
من جهته قدم الملازم أول فارس مبارك الدوسري من إدارة الخدمات المساندة للاستقدام عرضاً تعريفياً عن خدمات مراكز تأشيرات قطر بالخارج، واستعرض المراحل الخاصة بإجراءات الاستقدام عبر المراكز التي تم افتتاحها في بعض الدول وهي: (الهند، اندونيسيا، بنغلاديش، سيريلانكا، باكستان، والفلبين)
وأوضح ان مراكز تأشيرات قطر بالخارج تعمل على إنهاء إجراءات استقدام العمالة الوافدة من خارج الدولة عبر مراكز معتمدة تسهل إجراءات الاستقدام وتحمي حقوق الوافدين، وتجنب حالات رجوع الوافد إلى بلده في حالة عدم الأهلية، بالإضافة إلى مباشرة العمل فور وصول الوافد إلى الدولة.
كما أكد ان تلك المراكز تعمل وفق نظام إلكتروني متكامل لتنفيذ إجراءات الفحوصات الطبية والتقاط البصمات والبيانات الحيوية وتوقيع عقود العمل للوافدين خارج الدولة، وتحت إشراف ومتابعة الجهات المعنية داخل دولة.
