Katara Beach Surprises to Welcome Eid Audience

Doha: Katara Beach is preparing to welcome the public for Eid with a variety of events for fun while adhering to the precautionary measures set by the competent authorities to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
Mr. Mohammed Al Kubaisi, Beach Supervisor, pointed out that Katara Café is open to all, and sea sports pioneers can easily access it, and get drinks and food during their cruise, and for families a range of speedboats and sanbouks have been provided to connect people to the café, where the price of a round-trip ticket is 25 riyals per person, and the last trip to the café kicks off at 10 p.m.
He added: At the moment the café is open only during the weekend, and with the mild weather and increased turnout will be open seven days a week, and for opening hours the café offers its services during Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 3:30 pm to 11 pm.
He pointed out that all visitors to the floating Café Katara are obliged to wear “life jacket” during their journey to the café, in order to maintain public safety, and their commitment to it while sitting in the café, where anyone is prohibited from going without wearing a life jacket, and is provided free of charge to visitors to the café.
He revealed the preparation of a series of surprises during Eid al-Adha holiday from the first day of Eid to next Saturday and provide various events that attract families.

الدوحة: يستعدّ شاطئ كتارا لاستقبال الجمهور في العيد بباقة متنوّعة من الفعاليات لقضاء أوقات ممتعة مع الالتزام بالإجراءات الاحترازية التي وضعتها الجهات المُختصة لمنع انتشار فيروس كورونا.
وأشار السيد محمد الكبيسي -مشرف شواطئ- إلى أن مقهى كتارا مفتوح للجميع، ويمكن لروّاد الرياضات البحرية الوصول بكل سهولة إليه، والحصول على المشروبات والأطعمة أثناء رحلتهم البحرية، وبالنسبة للعائلات فقد تم توفير مجموعة من المراكب السريعة والسنبوك لتوصيل الأفراد إلى المقهى، حيث إن سعر تذكرة الذهاب والعودة 25 ريالًا لكل فرد، وتنطلق آخر رحلة إلى المقهى في الساعة العاشرةً مساءً.
وأضاف: في الوقت الحالي المقهى مفتوح خلال عطلة الأسبوع فقط، ومع اعتدال الأجواء وزيادة الإقبال سيتم الفتح طوال أيام الأسبوع، وعن مواعيد العمل يُقدّم المقهى خدماته خلال أيام الخميس والجمعة والسبت من الساعة 3:30 عصرًا إلى الساعة 11 مساءً.
ولفت إلى إلزام كافة زوّار مقهى كتارا العائم بلبس «اللايف جاكت» أثناء رحلتهم للذهاب إلى المقهى، وذلك حفاظًا على السلامة العامّة، والتزامهم به أثناء جلوسهم في المقهى، حيث يحظر أي فرد من الذهاب دون لبس سترة النجاة، ويتم توفيرها بشكل مجاني لزوّار المقهى.
وكشف عن الإعداد لمجموعة من المُفاجآت خلال عطلة عيد الأضحى المُبارك في الفترة من أول أيام العيد إلى السبت القادم وتوفير فعاليات مختلفة تجذب العائلات.
